I read other reviews of people complaining about noise from this card.
I have had no issues at all, and I can't hear this card. The fans almost never run except at startup (test) . If they do come on I can hear them, but if they are needed, the other 11 fans in the case are also ramping up. (again has only happened if I am calibrating a new fan.
I didn't relaize it is only a PCI-E x8 card when I bought it, but the price was right.

Very nice gpu. Coil whine is noticeable though. Can run 140+ fps at 1080p pretty well

It had some pretty bad coil whine at the start, but fortunately after a couple weeks there's almost none left. The fans do get loud, so I undervolted it which helps with temps and fan noise a lot. Undervolt and overclock settings: 1087mV GPU voltage, 2850mhz GPU clock, 2300mhz VRAM clock. At idle its around 35°C (fans at 0rpm); under load, the average GPU temps hover around 52°C, but GPU hot spot temps is around 75-78°C (fans at ~1800rpm, might do a re-paste at some point down the line).

Great card for 1080p, though the 8GB of vram gets maxed out on ultra in some games, and the fans get very loud on the stock fan curve and voltage. This is easily remedied with a solid undervolt and fan curve adjustment, which mostly solves the issue.
if you are going higher than 1080p, get a 6700 xt instead, that's what I wished I did, but this is still a solid card, and much better than anything NVidia has to offer in the same price range

Powerful for it's price and pairs well with the CPU.

GPU is giving me amazing performance. Fans are really quiet and you have to install fusion 2.0 to control rgb

I didn't do a ton of research into video cards since I wasn't originally going to get one, but I decided I wanted to do a bit of gaming, so looked for something as cheap as possible that still had decent performance. Haven't had any issues with it. The look is not the best, but it looks fine in my case.
