Description

This is my gaming pc build. I went for 5600 bc it was 60 bucks cheaper than the 5600x and included a free game. I will mainly use this for gaming and occasional coding.

I mostly play Valorant and this will give me amazing performance. I will probably try some other games and post benchmarks on those games once all my parts arrive

Part Reviews

CPU

This is the best budget cpu. I got it for $129 with uncharted included. On valorant my fps is around 400-700 on 1080p medium settings.

CPU Cooler

It has yet to cross 60 degrees while heavy gaming for long hours

Motherboard

A lot better than I expected. I got fan hub to connect all my fans. This is prolly best motherboard for budget gamers

Video Card

GPU is giving me amazing performance. Fans are really quiet and you have to install fusion 2.0 to control rgb

Case

There was a light near the bottom which is kind of awkward. Airflow is perfect and supports my massive gpu

Power Supply

Its quiet and supporting my build so it should be fine for budget gamers

How good is the 6650xt for you? I'm looking to get it!

I’m curious too, I see the price drop on Newegg. The Gigabyte that lights up is capable of rgb?

I’m about to get this exact build (same cpu and gpu). Could you tell me how good it is?

For me, I already installed the 5600 and there has been a massive uplift in fps from the 1600. I bought a 6600 instead of a 6650xt just due to concerns with power draw with my 500 watt psu. I’m sure even more fps will happen when I replace my 1060 with it

You should consider Thermaltake gold psu that I got. Its 650w and pretty quiet. At first I was skeptical bc I wasn't sure if it was a good brand for psu but the quality was really nice. It went on sale for like $63 couple days ago

It performs better than 3060 that my friend has in games like valorant and CSGO. I am happy with it bc its quiet. You should adjust fan curve once you get it tho. You can to do this on MSI afterburner. Temps avg at 50- 68ish during long gaming sessions

Its performing awesome. I play valorant mostly . I am getting 400-600 frames with occasional drops to 300. The fans are quiet as well. I would definitely suggest it if you want best bang for the buck. The rgb is decent. Nothing too flashy, you can change the lights on RGBfusion

hey the motherboard says it's incompatible with the cpu until a bios update, im planning on buying this build so if you could lmk how the motherboard worked for you that would be so great 🙏

My motherboard came with the bios update. It worked out of the box. There is a flashback button to manually update if you want to
