from completed build Peregrine Falcon [First Build]
While dated of course and with some of the RGB lighting out, it's effective in its role. May replace with a RTX 30-series once they get back in stock (if they ever smh, I hate the gpu shortage of 2020-21)
from completed build $500 Sale Hunting Project
Bought this used in 2020. Great looking card that should be sufficient for 1080p gaming. GPU sag is unfortunate but can easily be fixed.
from completed build CyberpowerPC GMA4000BST Gaming Computer
Been had for 5-6 years now straight and repaired it on my own when a fan broke down and now the fans all work and is a 1080P Monster I've thrown everything at it and it still lives...
from completed build A perfectionist's gaming build V2
Good looking and is a great card for 1080p gaming. Only downside is that it is a loooong card so there is quit bit of sag.
from completed build 2nd PC (Upgrade)
The best looking 1060 6gb around. Has RGB, amazing cooling, plus the looks. This card is great for 1080p gaming and CAD.

from completed build First PC build! Budget-ish gaming/streaming/work Ryzen/Nvidia build.
As far as GTX 1060's are concerned this is one of the pricier options but with good reasons behind it. The 3 fan heatsink is massive, so is the card for that matter but that translates to incredible cooling which means that this GPU is perfect for overclocking. While it comes overclocked out of the box I was able to push it further as the cooling is top notch. The fan configuration out of the box is so that the fans doesn't spin until 55-60 degrees. Under full synthetic load with maxed out power and temperature limits and +100 on both core and memory clocks the card maxes out at 73 degrees. I'd say that's damn impressive as my old card would reach 80 degrees in GTA V which put 100% load on it. Last and not least, the card's riddled with rgb lights on the bottom and the side. Those look really good and can be controlled through Aura Sync which my motherboard also supports. Needless to say it was plug and play and the lighting looks great!
from completed build 8TH gen gaming rig
Underwhelming for the money, while it cruises 60 fps @ 1080p, so did my 4 yro r9 380x at just 10*c cooler and unless your using a vertical card extension the leds are almost completely hidden and don't quite sinc with aura. Get ready for some card sag, the things a beast. Overall a nice card but I guess I should've held out for a 1070.
from completed build Antipixel
Looks great works amazingly. It unfortonatly always boots to breathing ROG red before it syncs to the colors I chose
from completed build Mid Range First Build (Sub $1000)
Best mid-range GPU in my opinion if you can find it on sale, if you wanted a more budget option while sacrificing performance you could go with the 3gb or even a 1050TI 4gb. Has handled everything ive thrown at it with very high frames, including PUBG, Battlefield 1, and Nier Automata.
