sli requires an sli extension that is sold seperately while crossfire doesn't. both multi gpu performance in gaming is horrible though. i switched to a single gtx 480 long ago and it did better.
DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE, Almost no support for multi gpu in even the new games and sli was recently announced to not be supported anymore due to lack of need and support for it. crossfire i predict will die out too.
save the money, go for a 1060 3gb card. the cryptocurrency rage right now has made literally any other gpu too costly for the performance it gives. that and the 3gb card performs exactly the same as a 6gb card turns out so its best you be the wise one and go 3gb for the savings. I saw a FTW+ 1060 3GB for around $250 in here. and a cheaper but just as good 3gb one in white for around $209.
well I ran the campaign and soon into the second mission it crashes with 100% usage on both gpu's and cpu. I couldn't find a way to properly record it since I have no experience.
the framerates on the first mission with the mark v tank I get no higher than 58 fps with dips to 43fps
I am still toying with the crossfire modes and wondering why I have two profiles to the same game. could that be the issue?
I have a B150 msi gaming m3
I am now tinkering with the crossfire settings and found out I have two bf1 profiles
Is it normal to have two profiles for the same game?
no displayport on the monitor, which was a bit of a downer. and for the price I had to just work with it. The cable itself is not the problem as tested with last build.
right now it may be just breaking in with the drivers and maybe will fix itself like the last build was, but compared to an i3 and just one 470 it's actually being BTFO at the moment :/
that was addressed in last build. the DVI-D cable is good. turns out what is really happening is known as screen tearing. I didn't know that because I never seen such a thing before.
the monitor only seems to allow vga DVI-D and hdmi 60hz
It may very well be drivers somewhat but I even updated and while the tearing does not happen that much if at all, it still kills the framerates on the battlefield 1 benchmark
avg frames being between 45 and 75
A bit priced but work well.
you should probably go with a slightly wider razor mouse if going that brand, i might have large hands since my pinky still drags on pad when using mouse.
don't make my mistake and get stuck with green light instead of chroma because aesthetics.
the synapse is pretty cool and its audio drivers for directional audio is pretty sweet.
the mouse and gaming headphones plug into keyboard cutting down on wire clutter somewhat
however make sure to keep your drivers up to date because if not then your cursor will not respond to mouse input randomly prompting to remove and replug your mouse
for some reason the old h60 from my last build was sticking up off the cpu by a little bit. made no sense.
there are youtube videos with that kind of benchmarking you want.
sorry you can't, unless you are ******* great at modding ****. though the fans can be hotswapped which is nice.
thanks! I'm still kinda new to the use of cable management and wish there was a better way to run the radiator fan cord away from the motherboard out of the window's view. I don't have a 1440p or 4k monitor which won't let me experience the full graphic fidelity that this thing can dish out. The only way for me to tell wich resolution it is rendering in is the changes in framerate at the moment. still not finished downloading my steam games but I'm pretty sure Arma 3 will still suck at optimization.
yeah it surprises people every time i show em.
advanced warfare played pretty well plus this is an oc edition. space engineers was a toughy playing 1080p at 34fps avg
i've rerouted the fans to now the bottom fan is at the back and the fan up to is STILL pulling air from the top front vents. though the flow is the same overall, the air itself now gets time to be drawn from the fresh open part of the room and pushes hot air out the back. that with the gpu and cpu fans both pushing the flow in the same direction. during benchmarking tests this cpu was pretty damn cool despite the reputation of this 955 be 2008 model. though im forced to play advanced warfare on normal settings to avoid this weird effect im observing on the graphics at high settings. the framerate is very playable on both settings but idk what im observing. perhaps ill use my laptop to stream this stuff and you guys can see what i mean. at least both computers notify me that they can idk.
fixed. got a 600w.
budget constraints stopped me. but in all fairness the article doesn't show indication of the brand power supply being used much less the desktop used that we can derive the psu serial number from
its easy to google. just type the cpu and graphics card into the search bar for benchmarks.
alot of gtaV ones idk why, never thought that it was that demanding of a game performance wise
im going to cover it in a white coat that way i can get it spray painted and then it would be truly ghetto.
im trying to perfect the **** simulator im programming. i will make a sound proofed broom closet and where my oculist rift on my oculist rift while wearing twin car speakers on each ear with my nintendo gloves and put electrical stimulants all over my body to react to simulated touch and put a spacebar function in the betty white flashlight i will mod into a controller button
I'm tired of the potato graphics of minecraft no matter what PC I try. I will make those sharp blocky edges disappear into smooth sexy curvy graphics if it costs me my marriage!
