Thorough imaging, shows the builds process, I love that build! +1 P.S. did you use a usb stick to install windows? i have never installed it before and am curious.
Sweet water cooling and very clean. Nice Job +1.
THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT BUILD.
Thanks on commenting on the overkill of this build, i am more of an intel guy than a AMD guy. I have never used an AMD CPU.
Tesla model X
nvm i only have 5 games in my library, thx for the help.
k, so 500gb would be gud for vr games?
can you have games purchased that aren't installed?
ok, thanks for all of your help this has been really useful.
so what is the difference between this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/fpM323/evga-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-6gb-gaming-video-card-06g-p4-5161-kr and the one you linked?
FYI the card you linked is not a SuperClocked, the second one in the description is though.
So, out of all three, the one you suggest is the best? But isn't the first one in the description best for airflow in VR level gameplay?
regarding core clock speeds, the second one in the description has a faster core speed. ( the mini ITX one) would there be any discernible difference.
its this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/fGvRsY/thermaltake-case-ca1b800s1wn00
The build is mini ITX, thanks for your help.
wow great suggestion. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!! :)
fixed the link problem. Thx for the notice.
good place to stop.
wow, i am not alone in this world!
wow, great build, your kid will have a blast.
nice price hunting
k here is a revisit https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZLvxnn
office PC get pretty beat up so you need something strong and durable.
sorry you could probably take off the video card and be fine the CPU has great graphics alone
any AMD is a bit more gamer than workforce.
great build wheres the cpu
sorry didn't do the permalink try this https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8wZyvV
this is the part list i set up https://pcpartpicker.com/list/
this is a little too gamer oriented i will make a workforce right away.
epic steal for a PC like this. Great build very clean.
Hope you like it, wouldn't consider rebuilding this thing yourself.
I love the setup of the PC, such a clean build and LOVE the case!
that is weird. didn't even notice till i read the comments.
wow that is tiny refitted my HTC Vive build to it see here. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/tech_geek100/saved/#view=Ws34CJ
Great bang-for-buck build right here, I use ubuntu in my build as well and is a great gaming/programming as long as you know how to use the terminal to download stuff and just in general :). I have a similar build that has this same general setup and a beast video card for VR.
that case is tiny, never seen a mini itx case so yeah, but great build and what VR headset are you using? I am making a build that handles the HTC Vive like a pro.
wow I am seriously bad at running to conclusions, you built the computer AFTER you fixed your electrical!
This is more than a satisfactory gift for you fixing your power, probably torture to go home after work and not be able to play it. You DEFINITELY deserved this as a present!!!
Please don't swear or fake swear or the comment will be removed IMMEDIATELY!
Great build, especially like the case shape and case lights.
like the GPU, and whoa that's a whole lot of fans
Great build but I am a bit confused about where you got the HTC vive VR headset. The price you got if for is 1,000 when you can get it on amazon for 600. But I don't know, maybe this headset was purchased at the beginning of 2017. Now that I think of it, that is probably likely.
your welcome. I try to make good PC's myself but they don't always work. Along with software
Great first attempt. I am using the GT 1030 and it's a pretty decent gaming chip.(my buddy uses the same video card in his gaming rig.)
That is truly thinking out of the case bad pun
This is a beautiful piece of machinery, a lot if money but nice build.
