Down to around the $500 mark with very little sacrifice
PCPartPicker Part List
See you got some great deals on these parts. Where did you buy from ?
I would re-install the video card. When dropping it into the slot, much like the Ram it requires very firm pressure, and there is normally an audible click of the retention clip closing in when it is fully seated. Also make sure the GPU has proper power connections from the Power supply, and that those cables aren't bad (swap them out if possible).
Ended up going with this instead.

Yeah, the GTX 960 Cards I have are handed down from their upgrade to 580's. They still do fine for Gaming, just gotta turn the settings down a bit.
I'm not sure what all the did differently. But I've had a TON of Miners tell me the MK2 cards much cooler and quieter than the original white OC Armor cards. They look the same in pictures. But I've heard this enough to feel it must be true.
I'm debating my other options though. I could toss in a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 570/580 8GB from my mining rig, or the extra MSI Gaming X GTX 960 4GB hanging out in my rig.
EVGA G3 Power Supply is calling your Name. Much better Quality and on par with the rest of your build
I sold my MSI Armor card because even after fresh quality thermal paste it was still a leaf blower attempting to keep itself cool. If opportunity knocks get a Sapphire Nitro+ card and you will not be disappointed, the cooling is just superior in every way.
Interesting Build, thanks for sharing !
I knew Cooler Master was doing a Blacked out version of the Hyper 212 EVO, and even one with a Red Fan. But this RGB Edition I hadn't seen yet.
Interesting Rig. Thanks for Sharing
Love the Looks. But MAN that is expensive for the hardware that is in here.
Thanks for Sharing !!
The ML (Magnetic Levitation) Fans are just must higher quality all around especially in the bearing type. They will provide better air flow at lower noise levels.
Went all Noctua in my Rig last Christmas and have no regrets.
Yeah, I'm back down to 2 cards now. I re-purposed one to a Friends VR Gaming Rig.
Just take the stars off the end
Hang around here long enough and you will learn all sorts of things
You want to swap out all the Fans with Corsair ML series, Trust me :)
Very Nice Rig.. Glad to see someone else is rocking the 760T, you don't see many new builds doing that..
They do have a point, you might wanna go 280 or even 360 Rad for that Chip if it gets Warm....
Backplate for that GPU would be the finishing touch in my humble opinion.
Thanks for Sharing
Corsair RMx 750, or EVGA G3 750 would mate up nicely with this build.
Extensions you have look very nice, but Not ever seeing a review on that Power Supply you have makes me question its quality.
Yes, one of these XFX cards does have a slight bit if coil whine, even paired with an EVGA G2 750. I put that card in my Oldest Son's Gaming Rig (bknight) because he likes ambient noise, so it doesn't bother him.
I named my Main Rig Deadpool also. But mine is just stock black and red, you took it to the next level for sure.
Very nice. Thanks for Sharing !!
Oh, pretty sure you have the wrong Power Supply in your parts list. The cables for the G3 series don't look like that. What you have looks more like something from Corsair.
Notice this is a Budget build. But when you pay more for your Electronics Duster than your Power Supply it could be a Sign ....
Case that has proper Cable Routing Like the Fractal Design Meshify C and a Quality Power Supply with good looking Cables like the EVGA G3 750 would round this build out well..
Yes Great Choice !!
Someone else dropped the PCPP link for it
That helps me sleep better at night :)
Power Supply doesn't match the Quality of the rest of the build for sure. $700 GPU, and 50 cent Power Supply to drive it.
EVGA G3, Corsair RMX, Seasonic Prime. Check Jonnyguru for Power Supply Reviews and please get something of higher quality for your system.
Friends don't let Friends run Stock Coolers....
If you need to find something that will match you build, just let know and I'll dig up a few options.
Pretty skimpy Power Supply compared to the rest of the build...
Plan is to power a $400 CPU/GPU Combo with a $10 Power Supply ?
EVGA G3 is your friend for a more balanced system Grin
Couple Noctua Chromax fans would put this build over the top IMHO.
Very good component selection
A build like this should not be placed on the Floor. Try making some room up on the desk for it...
That case and fans are pretty sweet. I also didn't know Antec made an AIO.
Next time you do an upgrade can I be your friend ?
Very Nice Build
Wish I had that much SSD storage for my Rig Grin
If it is the Power Supply you might try looking into the Corsair SF600 instead.
Interesting build. Not sure I'd be trying for a record OC on the 8700K in a SFF build.
For the Fans if going Noctua check out the Chromax series. And Corsair ML also so well.
Case looks like a challenge to work with...
When budget allows. Please spend a few dollars on a case and route those cables properly.
Great Budget Build. Non existent cable management.
You didn't honestly build this rig with a single 4GB stick of Ram ?
Love the Noctua Chromax
Looks like a Featured Build to me
Seeing this build makes me want to step up my Game
In the "Pimp My PC" section on Awesome Hardware. This could be the example of everything done correctly.
Thanks for sharing !!
Very nice Build, and Very well done.
Thanks for Sharing....
Some odd choices are made here. Dual channel on a board that can do quad channel mem. And a 120mm AIO instead of putting a 240/280 up top or in the front..
Over all very nice, Love those HOF Cards, and the EVGA G3 shows you did some research on your Power Supply.
Very nice part selection and build.
Seems a little unbalanced with a nice 8-core chip, and only 8GB of ram.
