Well...if you won't overclock switch the CPU cooler for a cheaper one. Also you can go for a 550W PSU, to save about 20$.
Yeah! Another live build!
If you refer to U2525H, yes it's semy-glossy:
Also the entire Dell S-line (S2415, S2418 and so on) are glossy.
I always loved glossy screen for colors precision. But now i've switched to matte (a Samsung) and i didn't regret. But in my opinion is important to buy a light-matte screen so you won't see too much differences.
Yes, you need a separate kit, cause the cooler isn't shipped with AM4 brackets.
Check here: http://www.coolermaster.com/amd-am4-ryzen-compatability/en/
You have to buy the right adapter for your cooler model. If i've read correctly you have to buy RR-AM4B-H212-S1 model. There are also pdf with instructions.
I have the 570 4Gb, is a good card. I run most of the games @ 60 FPS with medium settings.
Great clean build. Meshify C is one of the cases i prefer.
Yes enable it via in-game and try.
Do you play @ 60/75 FPS with V-Sync?
There are lot of GPU good for i5-8400. Tell first your budget and you monitor model.
By AMD chips do you mean CPU? If yes, i don't think Nvidia drops the framerate cause most users will read into a GPU issue. Anyway, in my last build, i've used all AMD (CPU & GPU) cause i'm tired about Intel/Nvidia dominion :D
What do you feel about case? It's cheap?
Remeber not to buy a 6-pin powered GPU. Cause i think your PSU doesn't have the optional GPU cable.
There are also Masterliquid Lite 120. About 40$.
But instead the one you have linked i suggest a good air cooler for 40$. Less problems.
I have a Ryzen 3 1300X. I'm very happy with it. I usually gaming and internet surf. So i think i won't back to Intel. For years i've bought top-end Intel CPU with no use of it.
Ok so i'll add them in future.
I saw the video. Sorry, but without Ryan, is not the same thing.
Sorry i didn't see it into Blog section.
I suggest to buy a Retail Windows 10 license via Microsoft Store. As Sainted said, retail license can easly transfer when you change hardware of your Pc.
Hi. I have the same problem. My CPU temp fluctuating so the case fans are going up and down. I resolved using a custom fans proflle that keep them spinning 20% until CPU reach 45°. Otherwise, if you mobo permit, you can set che fans sensor to mobo temp and not cpu. Mobo temp are stable, but when CPU raise heat, the fans will not increse airflow.
I have Corsair XH 620 (semi-modular). The PSU runs great and still work from 2008. But i will buy a fully-modular next time, cause better cable management. With semi i have 8-pin and 4-pin for CPU, so one of these will not be used and it stay inside the case.
Maybe a semi with only a 4+4 pin CPU will be the solution.
Beware that lot of semi-modular have not only the mobo and CPU pin, but either PciE and Sata. So if you don't use all of them, you left that cables inside case.
I will only swap the PSU top-down so it can take air from bottom. If i remember your case has the bottom air-intake for PSU.
Nice good looking build man!. +vote. Maybe in future think to switch for a larger monitor.
Thanks but i need a recharging stand, so i don't have to plug-unplug any cable.
I hate RGB too :D
If you have an Nvidia card i suggest a monitor with G-Sync. 100$ is not too much, consider what have you already spent in that build. Also you can go with 1440p resolution, the GTX 1080 can handle lot of games with 1440p.
So there are misinformation...
Which is correct?
I've owned a Dell FreeSync. I've used it in combo with V-Sync. When the FPS goes below monitor Hz, the FreeSync start to work. So i think it worth only if you have an hardware that cannot reach the monitor Hz.
Hi, try looking at this monitor: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/XnTrxr/samsung-monitor-s24d300h
It's a TN, 60Hz, 1ms. No speaker.
Otherwise LG has lot of 22"-24" IPS monitor.
Hi, i have 1300X. It reach 3,9Ghz without OC cause: +200Mhz from boost and also +200Mhz from XFR. XFR increment is different between Ryzen models. I've tried stock cooler and also a Noctua one.
Sorry, is Manirelli, not Marinelli :D
Thank you very much! It's expensive but i think i'll order. It's simple and functionally.
+1 for the colours match :D
I love the Meschify C too. I think is one of the best good-looking case actually. Elegant and functionally. When i save some money i switch to Meshify C. The only limit is the max GPU lenght of 315mm. but i think most of cards can fit.
Nice clean build.
Nice clean build.
Nice the idea to have two 120mm radiator in front. So you prioritise the exaust rather the intake i see. What about temps on this configuration?
Is possibile to installa fan onto Noctua U12S without removing GPU?
Do you keep 144FPS with that configuration?
I think is worth only if you go for a 144Hz monitor. With a 60Hz monitor and V-Sync ON there are no need FreeSync/G-Sync cause a GPU like mine can do 60 FPS @ FullHD in almost all games. Instead, with a 144Hz monitor, is expensive have an hardware to mantain 144FPS, so adaptive sync is worth.
Please revert the NZXT waterblock. The logo is upside down. It's horrible :D
+rep for the view :D
Yeah you right, i have to buy the Asus Strix, but my budget doesn't agree :)
As the build name said, it's a "red" computer cause i wanna try FreeSync. But after tryed it (with Dell S2418H) i prefer to go with better response time (Samsung). I feel the difference in gaming.
You are a genius!
Congrats, very clean build!
The first Pc "on the grass" :D
Maybe you can save some money buying this motherboard:
