OP - You need to go here http://www.overclock.net/t/1624603/rog-crosshair-vi-overclocking-thread
It's a thread made by an ASUS Motherboard Engineer.
The bottom line on that kit is that it will work, and you need to uninstall the lighting software - for now - there's a bug in GSKILL's software but it will work out down the road.
You can't go off that QVL, it was written Feb 2017. Since then, AMD pushed out a massive AEGESA (spelling) update which enabled a LOT of memory kits at higher speeds.
For example, my GSKILL 16GB FLARE X (RYZEN RAM) DDR4-3200 is not on that list but its been tested on ALL Ryzen motherboards. It was made just for AM4.
You need to include every Mac they sell. Each MacBook Pro has that NVMe M2 SSD along with the ram now.
Apple as a customer represents 18% of the NAND supply according to the article.
Lmao I found this via google.
$80 for a kit? Hahah I'm paying like $300 for a 32GB DDR4 3200 kit today.
Hey did you manage to get that ram to go any faster? I'm thinking of buying it
Beautiful build. I'm curious as to what that Squadron decal is? Is it custom made? Where did you get it?
