I'm still in that state where I'm comparing to my previous build.

But yeah, that GPU looks like it's already OCed. There is a utility to switch three speed levels and Asus offers the same sort of thing with switches on the MB. I think the x79 Deluxe is a really nice board.

I've started by tweaking win7 and Adobe preferences and storage raid etc.

It is for another build to replace an old noisy heatsink fan. That build will also get the 2x2TB WD reds in Raid 1 for use as archive. That's why you didn't see them in the pictures.

Thanks, I like the pictures you made for your builds.

Using a tripod and shooting at various exposures. And remove/retouch things that distract from the subject ie: the background

Making pictures of a build is an interesting challenge.

(to get an aesthetic yet illustrative image of an object that has lots of black and white and matte and shiny and dusty and finger prints ... in a small space)

I very much appreciate browsing through the pictures that are on this site. Thanks to everyone for sharing.

Thanks for all the comments and +1 :)

The 80mm Noctua is to replace a fan in an old build which also gets the WD reds for network archive.

I don't mind the Noctua colors but I agree that it can seem out of place sometimes. Although having a color scheme wasn't a priority for this build I admit that having a choice is always nice.

The ADATA SSDs are working as intended but I think I'll be looking at improving on my storage before anything else. It really makes a difference when handling lots of images.
