One of the cleanest builds I've seen in a while. Good job!
I don't think there's any, as long as it doesn't block airflow, hit any moving parts like fans or short a circuit or something.
2022 seems like a long wait for me since this is my lively hood lul
but the improvements seem promising
Great insights nonetheless. Ty
Wow that's great. Team red is killing it lately.
This is exciting. I can definitely wait for that. Thanks for writing!
this has so much character. very unique!
Willing to bet its driver issues. I have same CPU. A few games ran 'bad' when I upgraded to RTX2080Ti. I also used MSi afterburner instead of X1. I suggest re-installing drivers at clean slate. Hope this helps.
As far as I know the F means the CPU does not have an integrated GPU for intel CPUs. Meaning if you want to use this, you’ll need a dedicated GPU.
well 4 years later it never did lol
to date, it's probably cutting the 24-pin and cpu 8-pin shorter to free wire clutter on my most recent build. I tried to sleeve each wire individually but ultimately failed. lul
I gave mine (though not as 'old') to my dad so he can have a better experience. :D
Thanks for your kind comment. Appreciate it!
You're a legend
I really like HyperX. Their design was really subtle with a hint of 'gamer' and not over the top.
beautiful craftsmanship UwU
i love black and red builds
Thanks for suggestions! I am looking at the AM4 platform as well. you pointed good on both sides. I'm still conflicted lulz
this is cool. nice and simple compact!
I find that I didn't use it that much since I got a Macbook Pro anyway.
I has been long since but at the time, I found it to be buggy. Audio would not work sometimes. Features like facetime or iMessage didn't work for me either. Another thing was updating the Mac OS. On a Mac, you would just click update. It's not so simple on a hackintosh from my understanding. Maybe it was my fault? I didn't look for much solution since the Mac OS was just for fun. Getting it boot on a Windows based system was a milestone in itself for me, as well as this build. :)
But I'm sure there are solutions to every quirks that come with hackintosh. It's up to you if it's worth the time.
you can try using nvidia inspector to force v-sync on, hope this works
definitely an overkill for the current set up. (i am using a 550w on 4790k + msi gtx970)
if you are planning on an sli set up, it's plenty and you wouldn't need to change it if you later decide to have multiple gpu set up.
should fix link http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/RWgzyf
you might get away with slightly placing the fan higher up the heatsink to accommodate your ram.
running 4790k + msi gaming 970 on 550w for more assurance to you sir :D
is a gtx 960 (or comparable) an option?
how far, that 4790k for 250 is worth driving for :D
use a utilizy like gpu-z and check there
beautiful build, great part choices!
err, random paint brush o_0? haha
super clean, that r5 is so nice to work with.
don't you find it weird how one 970 is perfectly straight while the other sags?
I have the same 1x 970 and the same motherboard, can't tell if its the card or weak pci e lane
i mean.. uhh the build is beautiful
such a beauty
i've been eyeing this monitor, do you think the pricetag is justified for its gloriousness? how's multitasking, gaming and such
i've used 70%, it's fine.
do you have the Arris modem/router?
that's correct. that +2 will just be left hanging
this was built in DEC 2014, price were higher compared to what it is now. Idk if you read it but ram came bundled with mobo & cpu discounts. thanks for the input tho.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
would definitely up the psu in the future.
but do you think this particular 550w psu will be safely enough for the time being?
the cable management on this build gave me all the tingles
it's a single rail 12V 45A..if that helps
neat lil first build!
love the steam punk look of this build. great touches
so clean. so simple
resourcefulness +1 ;)
how did you make all the wires vanish O:
dat sleeving doe
this build speaks for itself. love it.
