What tubing size is this?? 10mm 16mm? 12mm 16mm?
Huh? Sorry, but I'm not really sure what you're getting at. You can use the 1080 ti on any motherboard, even something low end like a B150(non overclockable motherboard for 6th gen Intel). Not sure why it would need to be on the motherboards QVL? The only thing that's usually on the QVL for a motherboard is ram... And even then, you don't necessarily need to follow the QVL list. GPU's usually don't require any QVL from the motherboard manufacturer. So even a 2080 ti could be used on this motherboard without an issue. Although I wouldn't recommend using a 2080 ti with any CPU that'd work on a Z170 motherboard, because even a 6700k will bottleneck a 2080 ti.
Hope this helps!
Here ya go. They also have a different version if you want to use the lighted EVGA cover panel.
Fan RPM was around 1000 ish under load because it would never reach past 70 degrees which is when my fans hit 100% speed.
Lol. I know. Its the first thing i checked for when i went sli i checked which m.2 slot coincides with which and both are at 8x.
Congrats on the feature!! I was worried your build would've outshined mine for a feature and looks like I was right. Well there's always next time. :c
Because parallel loops look dope, and I like the look of parallel loops. Loop order doesn't matter. Just because there's a radiator before the cpu or gpu isn't going to effect cooling performance. That's not how water cooling/radiators.
Those white fittings are amazing. Makes me want new fittings
Thannks!! I loved this build but I just for some reason wasn't happy with it
Well journey starts from v1.0 but I found a secret method of milking Unicorns. Let's just say I may or may not have a farm with a few captive unicorns.
Hopefully!! I need better pictures.
Thank you! And I fell in love with the HP14. They surprised me to the fullest.
Absolutely not. I'm just a sucker for things marketed with "Pro" in it
Pictures were just taken off my phone, I kind of want some real pictures taken of this computer.
Reads ambient air temps inside the case. And thanks c:
Yup!! Got the one off Amazon for like $45
Yeah it'll work. Just make sure you get the right waterblock for whatever gpu you get. Majority of the waterblocks are made for Founders Edition cards, but there are some waterblocks for aftermarket cards
wtf! That's dope! I'm gonna have to switch out my Bitspower valve for that. Just because it looks cool hahaha
Thanks dude! And congrats on almost a year! Here's to many more. Cheers!
Haha you're too kind.
System looks amazing! Love the clean lines. Kind of the same story with me though. My current build was my first ever custom water cooled PC. I too spent late nights on YouTube and scouring the internet to find answers. But it's all so worth it. Also, what is that slider thing that's coming off of the pump? Is that some sort of drain valve/slider??
Dude. Your build puts mine to shame :(
I need those Gskill RGB ram! Congrats on the feature again!
Hey! Just realized you're the dude that got featured on the front page! Congrats again dude! Your post actually inspired me to post my build :)
EDIT: Just read your bio. Glad you're doing well man! I've actually had a similar story. 5 years of IV Opiates. I'm now a little over 2 years clean, and focusing my energy on gaming, PC's, and cars. Here's a bright and clean future for the both of us. Cheers!
Yeah, sometimes Performance-pcs has it listed for cheaper. So maybe you'll luck out on some parts. But for waterblocks go EKWB... Fittings and Radiators find another reputable brand. I'd go with quality fittings like Bitspower, because one cheap fitting could potentially cause a leak. Good luck with your build! If you have any other questions. Feel free to hit me up. :)
For radiators? Check out Hardware Labs. They make some REALLY good radiators. They have slim radiators if you need slim, it's just their 360 slim was 4mm thicker than the EKWB. Which I wanted to replace my 360 EK Radiator with, but it wouldn't have worked for the front of my case. Alphacool makes great stuff as well. Swiftech is another great company, same with Koolance. Performance-pcs.com is where I ordered majority of my stuff, and they have pretty good customer service. So if you have any questions you can email them. I don't remember the exact discount code, but overclockers.net has a discount code for performance-pcs.com which I'm sure you can google. It's only a 5.5% discount, but that all adds up when you're buying about $400 worth of fittings. LOL
Yeah... I'm REALLY impatient, and it ended up costing me. haha.
The Hardware Labs Black Ice Nemesis radiators are great.
Thanks!! Bitspower makes the flow indicator. :) They have it on Amazon for about $31 with Prime shipping.
