So sorry for such a late response, but yes, the 1060 runs most of my games in 1080p at 144hz. More intensive games like COD Black Ops 4 and GTA 5 hover around 75-100 FPS range with med/high settings.
LP for life
I would give you the seller's link, though this was the only GPU they were selling since they bought it but never used it. As for the $120 GPU, I wouldn't trust it; that's far too low for a 1060 at this time unless that's the starting price on a bidding war.
Some eBay seller, everyone else (e.g. Amazon, Newegg) was either out of stock or had their prices balloon up to more than $400.
True, but frankly I preferred the modularity and rating and I’d heard more positively about Corsair than most other brands. Also, yeah I got the 1060 cheap; I even got it new!
For their price they actually do a superb job! Sound quality is excellent
Hey there, nice build! I'm using the non-TG version of your case and wanted to ask: how do you install Windows 10 on your new self-built rig if you don't have a disc drive in it?
any idea when prices will start dropping?
how's the ram been? i'm looking into that particular set of sticks myself.
right, my apologies, i was referring to the 144hz monitor that you got, the VG248QE.
How did you spend less than $200 on a 32GB set of Corsair RAM?
hey there! first off, impressive build! i myself am currently building my first gaming rig and wanted to ask how about the monitor you've got; are the viewing angles ok? is the color good? any other comments on it? much appreciated, and again, nice build!
