hey there! so its installed.. I think I must have something setup not quite right because it didn't wow me like I thought it would. Just need to keep tweaking settings i think.
awesome, thank you!
Wouldn't windows be on a hard drive? You would have to reinstall if you change the motherboard?
OHHHH I didn't know I needed both plugged in, I thought it was one or the other! Awesome. I will plug that in when I get home.
It's not that area that is vibrating. Its like the top half where the fan pops onto the main body of the wraith prism unit. That connection just isn't as tight as it could be. I can move it with my hands. 2 plastic pieces touching. I want to find a 'professional' way to fix it without just putting a drop of glue on it. It would have to be really bad for me to want to put glue or tape on it.
Thanks for your help!
Just to update. Got the 2700x in and installed. Haven't really been able to put it to the test, but everything booted up great! The fan is a little bothersome at this point. When I have the speed set to high (manual adjustment on the fan), the fan case vibrates a little. So I will leave it set to low and monitor the heat I guess.
are you?? I think it is swell haha
awesome thanks! yeah, I wasn't sure if .4 ghz was something that would be noticeable in performance or anything.
woooo!! great news!
so great! to hear!
Let me answer my own question! yes, my MoBo is equipped with Crossfire, so that should work! I guess the next question would be... Do I have to get the exact video card, or is there some wiggle room.
great! thanks for the info!
thanks for the info!
Thank you all for your help! That is a HUGE relief!!
so maybe I have my graphics options too high on the game and that's the result of it?
I will look around, thanks for your help!
follow up question. what is that additional 4, for? Just more power to the system?
fantastic, thank you for your help!
yeah, I built it before that. Where do I get the info to flash it?
what does that mean?
What router/ brands should I be looking at if I wanted to replace the spectrum one? What makes a good router?
ok, great, thanks!
because it isn't the ideal board would it be better go with a 2700 instead? Would there be more value in that?
ok, thanks! you rock!
Is there a big difference between the 2700 and the 2700x?
When you say second gen 2700 are you referring to the 2700x?
I do sort of live near a micro center, but then I have to ask myself. is the 3 hour drive worth it, and what am I spending in gas haha
ok, awesome, thank you!
This is great information, thank you!
Will my current MoBo limit me at all jumping up to the Ryzen 7 with the 2700 or 3700x? Or does it not matter?
See, I thought about doing that, but I was originally not planning on buying a GPU. once the 2400's graphics didn't do what I wanted them to do I should have returned them and got a different one.
I'm not really in the market for a new CPU as this one is only a few months old. Are there ones that would be better than this one, for about the same price?
What should I upgrade my CPU too?
My GPU only has 1 HDMI, and no VGA, so the easiest option if its available is to get the Integrated to work before I have to spend a few bucks for a different cable/ adaptors. haha.
I will check the drivers. Does my system scan them for updates?
I guess I will keep an eye on the PSU when I start upgrading stuff!
great, thank you!
haha love it!
yeah, the one on the list is the one that I have. ok great, thanks! yes, that is my combo. Why would the specs of the 580 say that it needs 550, if it didn't?
Thats awesome, thank you! Why do the specs for the 580 say to have a min of 550?
Just thought I would comment on this. There is a guy on youtube that reviews tech, and he reviewed some of the cards purchased from Wish.com. They are fake. stay away... If its to good to be true, then it probably is.
The Ryzen 2400 G has its own vega graphics, that after testing, can play games without issue. The problem with it starts when I try to stream. I can't seem to stream the game I am playing on the system without there being lag, as well as when I run the xbox into the system, the stream still lags.
If I add a graphics card, Could I run the stream on one card and the game on the vega graphics of the Ryzen?
Will the rx 580 be able to handle streaming a game that I am playing on the system?
at the very least, stream a signal coming in from an xbox?
If one is 4G vs 8G, will there be a noticeable difference?
