Cloud storage is too slow for the huge files I am backing up. That would take forever. I backup my important files to the cloud, but my virtual machines are not irreplaceable as I can reinstall them whenever. Can you tell me which storage device I have listed on my post would last the longest and is the most durable?
You have to buy a $58 cooler. And then you have to buy new fans (in your case it's an extra $30) plus you have to buy heatsink covers. Now how much does your $58 cooler cost?
All I really need is fast internet. It is a server, right? I will be using it to gather torrents on, but I set up a worse performing one in a virtual machine, and it seemed decently fast. ( :
I want a modular power supply, so the BR/BT won't work. Also, the Athlon 200GE seems worse for more money. I think 4GB RAM might work. Not sure though. Maybe 8GB or even 12GB would be a good upgrade for another time after I get more torrents.
Also, do you think I should use Windows Server 2016 or Windows 10 for the build?
