First the Mobo itself has leds placed on the side that is behind the fan (luckily). Then as you can see in one of the pics I have cut and soldier two led strips to fit the case perfectly and placed the two led strips on the top (left and right side of the fan facing each other ). Everything together makes a great looking computer!

ebay but also you can get them on amazon. I got for 120mm fan size, it won't fit exactly but I made it work.

Short Answer: Whats cheaper right now for you? just get that..

Long Answer Well I think the 580 XTR will be better for the long run because: - More VRAM. 8gb vs 6gb - Wider Memory Bus: 256 bit vs 192 bit - It looks like its smaller so you will have an easier time when you change cases.

Now I never used an amd card so I am giving you my own thinking when I did decided to order the 580 XTR. Also for cooling if you really want there is still space in this case to add two more fans on the GPU side which I am sure it will help. With all that said I am extremely happy with the 1060 Xtreme...

Thanks!

Yea I wont listen to pcpartpicker's warning too much but ask the community (like now lol).

Short answer Just check the 4th picture! uploaded it just for you, plenty of space.

Long answer Oh Man dont get me started on pcpartpicker's warning.. So it was giving me warnings for the 1060 Xtreme and the CPU cooler for this case, but as you can see everything fits with room to spare. HOWEVER, for my first attempt with the core V1 it never gave a warning for that GPU but I literally ruined the case to get the GPU to fit... So yeah I wont trust it. Though the Card length "fits" the card is too high/thick/.

Also that's the card I wanted! I waited 3 months (Because of cryptocurrency miners...) before I gave up and canceled my order and got this one. Enjoy your build.

lol yeah it that simple, I am using it as a second screen. So usb that powers it and the HDMI both going into the case and out the sides. One into usb post and the hdmi right into the gpu. This is case is just great!

Thanks. It was just a screen I got from amazon. I used it for my raspberry pi project. Then I thought I would be great to use it as a second screen for this rig instead.

Thank! Yeah mini itx is fun to build (if its not your first time building) but its seems more expensive and need to be really careful of the components you get so everything will fit nicely.

So according to the manual its A2 B2... I guess always need to read the manual and never assume anything. I did try A1B1 and it wont even post. A1A2 though was working and Ocing to 3.2ghz just fine.

WOW yeah I think you two are correct. FOR my defence the slots are labeled: A1A2B1B2... I think that confused me, I am used to seeing 1234.. When I get back home I'll recheck the manual.

I explained in the description:

  • I suddenly just thought to use the 7in touch screen that I was using for my raspberry pi.
  • Programmed and modified widgets to put on the new second screen.

So yeah Its a screen that I added to the case to fill the void and also made it useful. I liked how it turned out!

Yeah the cpu cooler is just too small, I want to reach 5ghz! I was limited to a small cool because of the previous case (core v1).

I ruined the core v1 case because of this GPU but it looks like it was worth it lol

hmm odd, Go here: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/products/case/ type 'air 240' nothing comes up, but when I typed 'air', I only see the other versions of the case.

Anyways great that it is here. Thanks
