Yes it's been a while! still running the same build besides a new Asus 144hz monitor, and I'm planning on possibly upgrading the case and the gpu's to 1080ti's.
Alex Liddmann desk add on
Yeah I might consider resubmitting actually, I didn't submit the specs from 3D mark and wasn't qualified for any placing.
I don't know if you saw the video, I dug around in tech source and found it:
Yeah I agree, I wanted to go with the stock 980ti body, because I liked the simple look of it. I saw a video from techsource (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCclKJQGPKs) on how to custom paint your cards, and the sli bridge and cooler bracket were pretty straight forward.
Ultra everything at 3440x1440p
yeah I entered in both, I don't have the strongest pc I am aware and clearly not a match for the crazy build fanatics out there. I'm just waiting for my entry to be featured on setup wars haha just takes a while since so many people entered.
Look at the pictures I posted with it, there's a picture of the can.
Um no mines pretty snug in there, like no play in the bracket, its pretty tight. Dumb question but did you push the bracket all the way through from the backside? because maybe that's it or your screws aren't threading properly.
thank you so much, its been a long road but I'm getting there. :)
yeah thats not bad thats what i was getting, I upgraded my fan profile to run faster so i run a lot lower like 65-70c
Thank you I got disqualified tho hahahaha
The desk was already in my room but the monitor stand is an alex drawer add-on from ikea
Thank you. :)
I went a little overboard and didn't do my research right but I just decided to stick with it.
How hot do yours get because I've talked to others about this as well and mine get about 75-85 degrees Celsius which I thought was hot but apparently it's normal. Sorry for the late reply as well.
I have not been on Ed's Pc wars yet, but I did submit a listing to get onto his show like a month ago.
I'll check I'm not sure, I'll run After Effects and render a large file and see how hot it gets
Case is and looks great though the cord management is key on the back panel or else you'll tear up the foam liner on the inside of the back door, also I got led strips at ikea and they work great
gta v has way more going on
hahaha lol i don't really think it compares
I haven't tested gta 5 yet but on Star Wars battlefront on ultra settings I'm getting like an average of 140-180 fps
No no it's not stupid at all? But the led logo is really just an led strip with rubber around it in the shape of the letters. On the letters there is a layer of green paint and a base coat of white and if you take fine sandpaper you can sand down both those layers resulting in a semi transparent grayish looking logo.
Yes I did a little color correction in Lightroom enhancing more of the neon-ish color, also lowered the exposure on many of the shots and softened the grain using the luminance bar. I also use premiere pro and after effects for editing, I love the Adobe software.
How do I know if I got featured?
I got the pok3r keyboard on Amazon actually
The kraken is great, the only thing I dislike is the fact that the cooling tubes are a bit too long for me and I wish they were just a bit shorter, but it's made for a range of cases so it's understandable.
You just have to get your word out there and let people know who you are. There's a trust list among video editors and people who hire them and if you do enough good work for other people, you will build a reputation and people will trust you.
You want the wallpaper?
I couldn't find the nsx one sorry
Thank you but not 21 yet lol ahahha
Oops I think it was a 4690k
It takes some getting used to, but I like the compactness of it and it works very well with my setup
I love the keyboard, it took me a while to get used to the fact that I didn't have a number pad or arrow keys but I love the keyboard and its size and it really compliments my setup.
I know very little about overclocking, but I've been trying to learn more but I haven't yet.
I responded to someone else with the same question, there are links farther down in the comments
I put links to the posters farther down in the comments
Oh no worries at all! I was just shocked by the amount of praise you gave me for all my work, I really appreciate it.
Oh I guess the car accident was close death... That could've been bad.
God? Close death? I just got in a couple arguments with my dad, I don't know if I'd say that much...
I honestly don't use it that much, it's just a rest for the other two fingers
Oh never again will I do that, I built that computer in 2014 and I've learned a lot since then.
