Thanks for the response!
As for storage. I have a NAS with 16TB of storage (magnetic and SSD cache), so I don't need much storage inside my computers.
I made and applied the vinyls myself.
Not a custom case. Standard Bitfenix Pandora. I just took it apart to get it powder coated.
Removed it, just a few screws held it on.
Found the brand for the spray paint (the blue parts), Rust-Oleum! They have a Paint & Primer rattle can.
Thanks! And not really. Since the other ones I know of have harder edges. The Phanteks Evolv is pretty sweet. A friend of mine has one, very nice case. But that might be a bit too squared off for what you are looking for.
Yeah I have, I just had the purple on-hand.
If someone would buy, sure!
I had it cut at a FastSigns shop. So whatever they used. I just supplied the files.
It's a USB screen that came with the case.
Nope. Nothing extra for the gloss.
Since the powder coating was done at a shop, I'm not sure the brand they used. As for the blue plastic pieces, I used an outdoor paint/primer in a rattlecan. Can't remember the brand, but it was the only one that matched.
+1 for Plutia
Thank you very much!
I plan on it. Got a few more mods I want to complete. RGB lighting is in the list.
If I tried building a Tracer computer I'd have trouble with all my pieces being 3 seconds in the past!
Yeah! I can't really go over 4.8 though. 4.9 takes over 1.4V, such a massive jump in voltage ;-;
I'm still very please with the OC.
Yeah, I'm unsure of the mesh color. Thinking of re-doing it. So full blue top?
I love the green window tint idea. In D.Va computer 2.0 I plan to make the side window with additional pieces of plastic make it look like her shield.
Maybe, I got such good clocks out of my i5 that I'm not sure I want to rid of it. I might put it in another computer however and jump to an i7.
Waiting to see about a 1080Ti.
Yay featured! Glad everyone likes it.
GIB MOUNTAIN DEW!
I want to build more OW themed builds now ;-;
I totally would if I was sponsored.
Yeah, I'm pleasantly surprised with my OC. It takes 1.4V to get 4.9GHz though.
I don't have a need for an i7. I have another computer build (which I haven't posted) for computer stuff. Dual 12-core Xeon build.
When in doubt. MOAR VOLTZZZZ. And win the silicon lottery xD..
Very small, couldn't even include a res.
I disassembled the case, had them powdercoated at a local shop. I designed the vinyls and had them cut at FastSigns. I applied them myself.
LCD screen that's part of the case. Can upload a jpg/png to it.
Come to the LAN!
+1 for Mei-bae
Ohh! Nope. Side panel from a ThermalTake Core X7.
Uhm, no. What makes you say that?
Yes I agree! But the only backplate at the time said 1080 on it an I'm not a liar. I did see they have a backplate now so I will be picking it up sometime soon. Because I agree, it does really polish it off (since you can see that side).
Yep! We have some people come from Shreveport (and further). You should come to the next LAN! http://critgamer.com/
We all have a pretty good time there.
Yep it is~! Although I used Hanzo pre-patch (hides).
I love the case, little tricky to build in, but not too bad.
Wow that clearance! How many sheets of paper can fit between your GPU and res? It looks like maybe 1 would fit. Nice tube work!
It is pretty compact. Be VERY careful of height. The plugs on top of the GPU waterblock actually push out the side panel some. It is very slick when it's all said and done though.
Powder coating from a local shop, not sure what they used specifically. Spray paint (what I did), was some outdoor paint/primer stuff I found at Lowe's.
Yeah, I brought all the metal pieces to a local shop. They do amazing work.
Sorry for the slow reply.
Technically the H630 would NOT fit the mobo - but only due to one thing. Standoff positions. It's the same size as an E-ATX motherboard. Just need to drill/tap some holes and you are good to go.
I'm now eyeing that new In-Win 909 case.... so pretty.
Alrighty then, I'll swap my memory over to that then. Yeah, no reason to tear your build apart again. Thanks for the help!
Are you sure you must have Registered ECC? I know sometimes you can use non-ECC memory on some server motherboards. I know they say it needs Registered ECC, but kinda hoping it's not a requirement.
If it absolutely cannot work with non-ECC, I guess I'll swap to ECC.
Do you so happen to have some non-ECC sticks you could test it with? I'd greatly appreciate it.
How are you liking the mobo? I'm thinking of using the D16 version in my next build.
Still a work in progress (few things are just placeholders for now).
Very nice build. Is there anything you would think of changing now that you've build it?
Very nice build! I love having 6 monitors set up that way, it makes it awesome for productivity.
What are you using for your monitor mount? I currently run a 7-screen setup off a clamp style hex-mount that I found on eBay. Link to my build here:
My poor miniITX lol!
