I have Samsung magician and have m.2 nvme and ssd sata, my ssd says AHCI mode activated while I don't see a mode status on m.2, is this normal?
oh thank you
pretty sure if it did go into the case it would be at the bottom hiding under all the wiring.
i cant really know because it happened too fast
ok il do that after i get my monitor back
i placed my hand on it while it was working and it felt like something was punching the thing on the inside lol......
i have rubeber grommets in every screw place, fans and hdd tray
kinda like that but not that much
i went and opened my case, took out sata cables connecting to the hdd, and the case was quiet no vibrations, when i put it back on with hdd connected the sound and slight vibrations came back. to make it extra sure i touched the hdd while it was working and it turns out it was the hdd. felt something inside was clicking causing vibrations. is this normal for an hdd?
https://nz.pcpartpicker.com/list/YwYLyX my build
the clicking sound happens at random times while the pc is on, the sound is strongest at the front of the pc where the ssd and hdd is and 3 fans
when i touch the area of the pc where it is closest to the noise i can sometimes feel a vibration :'(
the clicking sound happens at random times while the pc is on, the sound is strongest at the front of the pc where the ssd and hdd is
i found out the problem it was when i configured the bios setting
ok sweet thanks a lot man
thanks for the link, it wad really helpful, cheers!
This info is so helpful, thanks a lot man. do you happen to know the default vcore of the mobo with the cpu?
thanks for the info
my case has a pwm hub, if i were to create a custom fan curve do i connect all the case fans to the case's fan hub which is connected somewhere on the mobo? or do i just directly connnect all the case fans to the mobo?
will this be alright?
will cable extensions decrease the performance of the PSU and hence the pc?
looks like poop to me haha
thanks for the feedback man, i hope it goes well aswell
no its in NZD
yeah just went and looked at the manufacturers website, seems il be getting corsair vengeance LPX, thanks for the help
thanks for the rec man!
its not available in nz lol
i really want to use the noctua cooler, is there any other ram that would be perfect for the build?
so do you just recommend enabling XMP or DOCP?
thanks for the recommendation this would be my first pc and ive been playing my games on an old hp laptop since god know when haha
thanks for the recommendation =D
wait the wraith prism stock cooler was enough even when the CPU was OC? lol what a coincidence i am also going to uni next year and im planning on building my first pc as well which is pretty similar to your setup except i am planning on i7 8700k, is intel a good idea for gaming and for uni stuff?
Is it ok to just overclock the gpu and not the ram and cpu or choose XMP on the BIOS?
hey again is it ok to just overclock the gpu and not the ram and cpu? i have done more research now haha
how did you know that the motherboard has a wifi adapter built in?
thanks for the feedback :)
thanks a lot for the feedback, would this pc be good in terms of future proofing because i dont plan on upgrading in 5 plus years time
sorry about that here is the link https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/mega-monkey/27196413 I dont plan to overclock but still want the i7 8700k so will the ram be sufficient?
how about dota 2, lol, pubg, and other first person shooter games?
and thanks for the feedback bro
will it be sufficient if i dont overclock? i dont plan on overclocking but i still plan on buying the i7 8700k
how will this cooler hinder the pc?
