Beautiful workspace and pc. Thanks for getting those 90's parallel... It makes me cringe so hard looking at so many builds that other people post and they didn't take the time to put that last little bit of effort into. Only opinion I have that would complete everything would be a multi monitor stand to free up some of the beautiful led glow.
Looks like a great set up. Love that case window, well done.
Itx and budget are often hard to pull off but it seems you've done it, great build!
Good thing is an atx z170 board is fairly cheap in today's market. Put that cpu and cooler to use :D
If you look in local used markets, there are deals to be found. Not everyone knows to hike up the prices in the shortage. Good luck and nice looking build thus far!
It flickers, flickers...
Looks really clean! The mods look super professional too
There is a solution to the aio issue. Mount the radiator to the inside of the case and remove the nano's front filter. Fans can be placed in the ventilation recess at the front of the case. And if you're worried about dust, 120mm/140mm individual fan filters are available.
Looks great! I always love Ncase builds
Looks quite unique. Wouldn't be surprised to see this featured. Is that the psu mounted on top?
If you tucked most of those cables behind the grommets, my phoenix would be rising too!
Never liked blue builds but the contrast is amazing. Well done
I really like that this isn't another 7700k 1080ti watercooled build. Yours has a lot more character and creativity. +1 :)
Love the build. How is the pump holding up? Did it come with the cap with the g1/4 hole? Looking to use one in a build soon.
Feature incoming! +!
Looks nice! Shout out to the home phone nearby for easy access. You are truly a man of form and function. +1
Been there with the slow upgrade path... well, still there. I love the underglow!
Aside from having a locked cpu on an overclocking board, this build isn't all that strange. Looks good!
Looks like a quality amd build! If it were mine, I would move the pump and res up from their current locations to shorten some of those tubes. Cables could be tucked a bit too but those are just my ideas. Rock on!
Wicked small, love it
Nice build and setup, liking it
+1 Got yourself a keeper my friend
I like the dark aesthetic, looks mean and sleek.
Nice build. I'd add an exhaust fan though. It might help temps too with both the cpu and gpu by getting that hot air out of the case meaning cooler air being blown too and taken away from both units.
I like it. Debating switching to an itx cube case soon. Looks snazzy
I had loads of fun on a very similar machine albeit an FX6300 and really didn't have any major setbacks - an ssd really sped up the system though!
Just need some red leds for the desk :D
Looks great and I love the use of 120's on the gpu +1
I don't understand its meaning but I appreciate its existence.
Looks good, a 1050ti would be a great step up from that and at a reasonable price too!
Nice build. What kind of fans and res/rad is that?
A gift from Gaben himself
More pics! Have you ran any benchmarks?
I like the use of space and clean aesthetics, great setup!
Looks good, just wondering, is that rear fan being used as an intake? Every fan I've owned has had that spiral guard pointing in the direction of air coming through. Might cause some negative pressure and or dust.
Nothing says Christmas like a new pc :D
I've tried both ways but pushing the core further just isn't working. Temps are always sub 60°C, I think it's all I can push.
Hey thanks! I'm all about the deals and buying used is usually one of the best ways price to performance. And a pun indeed :)
I was hoping too but when running benchmarks and adjusting, it just won't go higher. I had memory at 500 but couldn't see any performance changes between some benchmarks. Not all that dissapointed though, still a good card.
Oh an nice build too!
What kind of frames are you getting? Any benchmarks?
Core clock +110
Core voltage +10
Was hoping for a bit higher but pretty stoked nonetheless
After OCing my i5 to 4.6ghz and getting the gpu up a bit more, I got a score of 16052. Pretty stoked!
That would be awesome, I'll send a pm!
Local buy on Craigslist, looked to be some type of server business. They had many more available but was happy with the one
Yep, 3.5ghz until the board upgrade
Actually found it on eBay, wasn't too worried with the buyer protection. Just had to change the paste and it was good to go!
Just a couple rgb strips, all the components are white to absorb the color
Chocolate milk :D
