Never sell yourself short my man, and I appreciate that :)
Great loop, very similar to mine. Awesome temps too!
I said seagulls, stop it now
The face of a champion
Great looking machine
Great build, really loving the backplate.
Looks great, sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission... hope the issue is resolved soon!
Really an inspirational build. Is that a pico psu you're using?
Great build, what did the case cost you?
You should be a-okay. Most aio's these days have minimal air bubbles unlike older models. Nice build!
Awersome build, always loved the humble Hadron
Your build looks great but what's better are the prices you paid. Very capable build done right
Mount it above your monitors to match the tri screen theme! :D
could be upscaled 1080p
Cryorig makes some great air coolers that would match the black industrial look to the case. I've even seen some builds where they attach their gpu's aio to the exhaust of the heatsink so it all flows together. Love the black aesthetic btw, very mean looking.
Personally, I've had great luck with both of my builds - one using a G4560/1050ti (my portable rig), the other using a i5 6600k/980ti (main desktop). With a nice i7 like you have, you'd be getting great frames with medium presets with say a 1050ti or 1060 - plus the lessened heat and power consumption. That 980 is still a pretty relevant and marketable card but it definitely draws more power and creates more heat. Just some food for thought if this build is purely to move around with. :)
You don't have to be rude about his hardware. And I would not use any budget corsair psu. Many of them in my experience have had faulty fans or whining. Get yourself an evga.
Great build my friend! I've started a very similar build for a sibling and can find many similarities in part choices :D
I really like the build and deck space. The color coordination is on point +1
Hi, nice build! First off I feel you with these prices... even building a very low spec machine to start a sibling out on, it's costing what a mid tier cost just a year ago. Second, if you're looking for a decent webcam, I've been happy with my Logitech C920. It's a couple years old but can do 720-1080p. If you're lacking lighting in the room though, I would look for something better. As far as mousepads go, I bought one on Amazon from a brand called Kupx (probably chinese) but it's black and you can pick the trim stitching color. For $15 shipped, it gives me a nice place for my keyboard and mouse.
+1 It's incredibly refreshing with just a random case swap sometimes. Glad to see a beautiful budget build with excellent cable management.
Also +10 for Sheldon
Nice build man, any performance loss not using the top pcie slot? I know with a lot of boards these days there's no difference, just curious.
Hey man, I have a 1050ti in a rig myself and while it's not amazing, paired with a nice cpu I've still had great times gaming plus they accept a pretty decent overclock in my experience.
Part PC, part custom loop hamster cage... Things to think about!
Sleek build, looks really clean!
Looks like a nice first build! If and when you decided to move to a smaller chassis, don't be afraid - it's really quite similar to that of matx, just with a little less room. If you keep a lot of components the same (ie stock and aircooled) building in something like a Dan Case or Ncase is a breeze. Enjoy the new system!
Great mods and build. Question, if you plugged in a 1050ti or gpu that doesn't require additional power, would that power supply still be able to power everything given tdp wasn't higher than allowed?
Your list looks like a great time but I wouldn't post a pre-build completed build, a bit off putting
Looks good but I would mount the leds where you don't see the actual diodes, just the light being given off. So either to the inside of the front panel or even case window.
Love Nano builds and bargains. Well done. Get to the modding :D
I would recommend a new mouse and pad but aside from that, it's a nice machine! ENJOY
Thank you for your service and awesome build!
Was thinking of doing this after watching something like this from Gamers Nexus. What did you find out in terms of temps after doing both?
Thanks for your help, finished the build and it worked out nicely. I have my fans mounted like yours but temps haven't been bad. Perhaps a mod in the future. Build is up if you'd like to see. Thanks again :)
built janky but looking swanky. I like it
It's not a custom loop if you aren't missing some skin... Looks great
I appreciate that, I've always loved a good bargain - not sure if I'll ever be able to build a pc without finding a used part to throw in it...
Thanks! I was never a big fan myself but I decided to spend a bit more on fittings to get the tubing into a more manageable loop.
Waiting on some new leds to come in before I show it all, thanks for checking out the build!
Quite happy with it, I'd recommend it if you're pinched on space
Awesome compact rig, much love
Great point, I bought mine before the price jump so I'm always forgetting that
Nice build. Luckily if you wanted to go intel, you could snag a z170 + a used 6600k for under $300.
Great build and modding!
Welcome aboard, enjoy the frames
Love the build, working on a loop of my own in the same case and hoping for some insight. Before reading this post I had to mount my top rad exactly as yours but I'm having a bit of issue with fan clearance in the front. Are your front fans inside the the case? (as in before the rad but behind fractal dust cover) or mounted inside of the front vent system? - Thanks!
