I'm obviously not the builder but I haven't found all that much gain in it before. Usually the ram becomes unstable when overclocking before the heat begins to play much of a role.

It's not a bad computer but you could have gone with a slightly older but overclockable i5 and then had another $150 to get a gtx 970/rx580 or whatever deals are out there. Used gpu market is super nice at the moment.

I still think FX builds have their place. Especially if it's already together and still working. Ryzen might be a better bang for the buck but there's no shame in getting the remanding performance out. Nice setup too!

Very good lucking build. EK fans are hit or miss tbh. I like my F3's but I had another set that both got noisy and quit working. Good luck with the Noctuas!

Nice clean build, I would look more towards a better cpu in the future without onboard graphics if you're using the 1050ti. Otherwise you're wasting a bit of what the apu was build for. Nice build

I highly don't recommend the Silverstone Slims, I've seen them on countless builds but they were one of the worst performing fans I've used to date. With little clearance and already low power, they're more trouble than the $10 they sell for.
