Did the original mobo have any proprietary connections or did the new PSU work just fine?
That story. Dang, man.
PCP making the build look expensive with those auto-prices.
At $75 there should've been some RX 570s around but probably wasn't lucky there.
Random Pringles can.
He can't. Seems he bought it in 2017.
It's a black case. There's so much lighting in the room I thought it was gunmetal too.
Why is that case $120 tho?
looks like the r5 1600's price is creeping up.
of course not.
The Ryzen 3 2200 is 4cores-4threads compared to the R5 1600 6cores/12threads. More cores and threads are better.
1) Was the i7-7700 paid for at full price?
2) Why liquid cool a locked CPU on a board that doesn't support overclocking?
3) Why 3200 MHz RAM on a B250 mobo?
4) $150 keyboard?
"Replaced the stock 1060 heat sink with a EVGA 980ti heat sink"
That worked? Impressive.
Yeah. With a little bit more research, you could've saved on the mobo, PSU and RAM and put the savings into an RX 570.
Good build in the end.
Don't worry. They sold it.
You'll still need to source an operating system.
Depends on the game as usual.
Yes but I would recommend avoiding the 3gb version since 4GB and up gives better results.
Bulldozer CPU so it's both.
I'm not even on the same land-mass.
Get a 2 or 3TB internal.
If the MOBO needs a BIOS update do that first. Then let Windows update before you install GPU drivers.
The Cooler Master seems to be 160mm tall.
That Cryorig M9 is 125 mm tall. Surprised the other one didn't fit and it's a mid tower ATX.
Take some measurements and trade it in for a new cooler.
Get the Ryzen 5 1600 since it's 6 cores/12 threads.
"I originally called this system "BethanyPC" after my ex. However, the Stenty BXP600 power supply I had at the time; blew up"
Again it would depend on the game. Upgrading the CPU to the Ryzen 5 2600 would help.
This honestly looks like a hand-me down build.
OK. But why LED fans and RAM on the first build?
Going for that best kid award.
There's probably that. I'm guessing some people gravitate to Ryzen for their unlocked 4-core CPU needs.
Looks like a Pharaoh's tomb.
What's with that clock speed?
Is this a new PCPP meme?
Nice build but spent a little too much on the ram and mobo. The savings could've gone to a GTX 1050 which performs better for Fortnite.
He was just using CS:GO as his system benchmark.
Do you really need 42TB for 4k streaming?
135 quid GTX 1060. Good riddance to mining.
God bless sub $200 RX580s
I'd get 16 gigs. I've seen Shadow of the Tomb Raider go past the 8 gigs point. Yes, the dedicated GPU helps since it frees up more RAM for system use.
How are the prices for the RX 570 in your area? I would recommend looking at that.
Nice catch. I saw the pairing and was rather confused.
The i5 8600 is actually a sub $300 CPU. I don't know why SuperBiiz is selling it for $325.
You beat me to it.
Added some games.
No problem. I'll update when I get home.
Video editor's curse. Need storage to live.
Nice build but how much did you actually pay for the g4520?
They probably just turned up the A/C. Problem solved :)
FX for life!!!
or until it melts. :p
