looks like the r5 1600's price is creeping up.

The Ryzen 3 2200 is 4cores-4threads compared to the R5 1600 6cores/12threads. More cores and threads are better.

1) Was the i7-7700 paid for at full price? 2) Why liquid cool a locked CPU on a board that doesn't support overclocking? 3) Why 3200 MHz RAM on a B250 mobo? 4) $150 keyboard?

That worked? Impressive.

Yeah. With a little bit more research, you could've saved on the mobo, PSU and RAM and put the savings into an RX 570.

Good build in the end.

Yes but I would recommend avoiding the 3gb version since 4GB and up gives better results.

If the MOBO needs a BIOS update do that first. Then let Windows update before you install GPU drivers.

The Cooler Master seems to be 160mm tall.

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/TnJtt6/cryorig-m9-plus-484-cfm-cpu-cooler-m9-plus

That Cryorig M9 is 125 mm tall. Surprised the other one didn't fit and it's a mid tower ATX.

Again it would depend on the game. Upgrading the CPU to the Ryzen 5 2600 would help.

Nice build but spent a little too much on the ram and mobo. The savings could've gone to a GTX 1050 which performs better for Fortnite.

I'd get 16 gigs. I've seen Shadow of the Tomb Raider go past the 8 gigs point. Yes, the dedicated GPU helps since it frees up more RAM for system use.
