The BFGDs are still not out yet and this build is almost a year old.
The PSU is facing fan down. You can see it in the photos. The three front fans take in air and the top 2 and the rear one are exhausts.
Thanks a lot!
Sorry for the late reply. I've been very busy. The cooler is amazing. I can OC to 5 Ghz easily and it only gets up to about 70 degrees during stress tests.
It's connected with a 15 ft HDMI cable to the Onkyo receiver.
Why is that? haha
Nope. 65" Sony 4K HDR TV.
They're the standard lengths. If you look at the premade kits, I just used the same lengths with the custom cables. 60 / 70 cm, iirc.
Not necessary with one GPU. Talked to many people about it and was told the only reason to go 1000+ is if you're running SLI. Going larger without would actually LOWER my efficiency.
If I was willing to sacrifice in other areas, sure. I considered 2, but SLI seems like it creates more problems than it's worth.
Not at the moment. I'm enjoying it very much thus far!
It sure did!
Thanks! iPhone X
Considered it, but I was told to avoid it due to the problems that plague SLI.
Love it. The motherboard was a tight squeeze tho.
I got it on Newegg back in December.
Yep, it didn't want to go easily, that's for sure. Very tight fit. Had to use a bit more force than I felt comfortable with.
Thanks a lot! Hope you enjoy(ed) it!
Thanks for the info. You are talking about on the AIO display, correct?
Yeah, only in select games. I could do Doom in 4K @ 120 no problem, which I'm sure would be badass, but I just can't see myself getting used to gaming on a 27-inch display.
Pokemon for life! <3
Thanks a lot. It makes me really happy when someone understands my storage needs. Lol
Thanks a lot. Noted about the Kryonaut. I opted for the Formula over. the Hero due to aesthetics + the OLED LiveDash + it gives me the option to do a custom loop in the future if I want to. Only $100 difference, with this budget, it was meaningless.
I'm hoping that it will.
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed them!
That was my philosophy. First time has to be one to remember. Haha
I wrote about it in the post.
Finally someone who understands my storage struggles.
Good question and if I'm being perfectly honest - mostly aesthetics and the OLED LiveDash display.
Haha, no worries. The included video properly sums it up pretty well anyway.
Expensive, but worth it in my eyes. Thanks for your comment! :)
Thanks a lot! I'm glad I documented the build pretty thoroughly. It's nice to go back and relive it. Haha
Quite awhile. Lol
Thanks a lot for taking the time to check them out!
We have almost the exact same build, posted only minutes apart! Haha, awesome. You should check it out!
