Love it! 16 gigs of ram is nice isn't it? I sure think so....

How's that cooler doing for you? 40 dollars is pretty good for a 280!

+1 for itx, always love seeing a punch packed into a small FF

Comment reply on ImBoredHelp's Completed Build: Gaming PC (First Build)

  • 24 months ago
  • 2 points

For a first PC, this is pretty impressive. I usually don't like seeing rookies go out and buy a 2 thousand dollar PC, but honestly I think that grudge is lifted for me. This shows that with the proper dedication, no matter the experience, you can do something truly great

I really hope this gets featured, because you sir have done something great. +1

PS, don't worry about having a 1080p monitor, as long as the refresh rate is above 60 it is fine with a high end GPU.

Love it!! Do yourself a favor, clean up the cables a bit, wipe down/blow off the inside of the case, and take some pictures with the best camera quality you can (use a high end iphone or android unless you have a DSLR)

+1 for mid range gaming!

Sorry for being late, but I am building a PC with this Deepcool cooler;

According to this site, you may "need separate adapters" in order to use this cooler with that motherboard. Did you have to buy separate adapters by any chance? If so could you send me a link?

On a side note, love the PC, really nice job. +1

Speechless. Just, speechless. It looks so clean, like something you would see on a display in a museum. No touching! You might smudge on it or even worse breathe on it!

All jokes aside, really do appreciate the effort put into this. Do yourself a favor and pick up another stick of ram when the prices fall a bit, but other than that really good job.

Love first builds, just reminds me of mine. Really not much to say here, parts are pretty well balanced out (no i3-8100 paired with a GTX 1080ti) and overall a pretty nice build for a rookie.

The only piece of hardware I would recommend swapping out would be that power supply for a full/semi modular corsair certified one. Here's my recommendation for now: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/FQ648d/corsair-power-supply-cp9020101na
