Yep but i love my cosmetics so in the end it was worth it to me. Gpu is pretty plug and play so, maybe in the near future ill upgrade.
Everyone has their own preference and i had mine. Thats the great thing about building your own pc, you don't have to follow any standards except compatibility.
Mainly it was because i wanted that brand of video cards and the 2070s have bad reviews with blue screens and blacking out. The 2080s were also a little out of my price range. Its a super so it basically matches up the 2070 base model.
New beefy build for all the games coming out soon. And yes the back rgb fan still needs to get plugged in, just havent felt like plugging the extra rgb module in.

Honestly i didn't put to much thought into lol, all i wanted was a decent motherboard with good reviews and was 100 bucks or less. Thing is before i bought it i didn't know they had a newer version out, so i felt dumb afterwards. Its not a big deal at all but I definitely wanting to replace it later on.
