For example if my parts said 400w. I would go with maybe a 550w or 600w PSU. If it was 600w I would probably go 750-800w. I do believe 100w leway is fine though. I personally don't know much about wattage. Just have I've heard from different people.

I personally aim for going with power supplies that over 200ws over what PCPartPicker says my parts wattage is. Gives a good amount of room. I've also heard people recommend this

I plan on getting a 500GB SSD for video editing. a 2TB HDD to hold my games and Im going to keep the 1TB for everything else. I also want to get Deepcool CAPTAIN 240EX WHITE 153.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler. or a CRYORIG C1. Not a huge fan of AIO coolers. White(might be red) Cable extenders. A 1070. I also might have to upgrade my PSU. Ill figure it out when the time comes.

My Heat sink fan is pushing air out. The back fan is pulling air from the front towards it. And then I have it set up so it all just pushes out the exhaust fans. It seems to work well. CPU is at 30c. (idle)
