If he spent $788 on RAM. I highly doubt he's on any sort of budget or needs to save money anywhere. Which isn't a bad thing.
Yeah Noctua is also a good brand. Heck I've seen people hit like 3.9ish ghz overclock on the stock cooler. So overclocking isn't out of the question.
But a beefier cooler will help definitely.
an AIO would be good, but a super beefy air cooler like a Dark Rock Pro 4 would also work perfectly fine. ;)
Look at the date he built it.
Yes it will fit. As said already the card is 280mm length wise and the case limit is 360.
I'm jealous lol. I got a Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Edition and i'm always hitting 82C even at 100% fan speed and a thermal paste change.
Awesome rig man!! How are temps on your card?
Nice build. One of the best builds I've seen in that case. How are your gpu temps?
Just curious, why didnt the 1800x fit your needs?
How are your GPU temps with the h100i as an intake?
It's a k|ngp|n what else is there to show?? :P
He'd have to replace the motherboard, so it would be pointless.
It's going to be my moms new system, i'll probably post it on PCPP eventually.
She does a lot of photoshop work, so it's a worthy upgrade from her stock 6600K.
RAM is operating at it's full 16 CAS latency and 3200MHz.
Agreed. However the 1080 was a supprise, i built the system before the giveaway so I wouldn't have known I should have gotten a beefier PSU. I originally just had a 1060 so the 550W was fine.
However I do agree.
LOL two 1080 TIs in SLI and... "It's pretty nice"
Did you read the description?
It's the GCN Architecture. For some reason, the GCN AMD core is a much more efficient processor at crunching the specific algorithms crypto currency mining uses.
That's what I call a sleeper PC. Looks like a 7600K/GTX 1070 build. Had to go to the specs to see what you put in it. Nice rig!
Quick question, why is the CPU fan reversed? I think it goes the other way.
High five from another Devils Canyon user. :)
4790K is still a great CPU, overclocked it pairs perfectly with a 1080 Ti.
And that GTX 1060 is not a MSI OC variant in the pic. Definitely not his picture.
Not really, but that all depends on where you want your FPS to be.
For me personally, in TitanFall 2, I turned down to high settings in order to get 90fps to increase my competitiveness. However, on ultra preset, I was able to get 60fps 1440P no problem.
Even battlefield 1 at ultra 1440P I don't need to turn down settings, I get 65-70fps average in that game.
I hope this helps.
Well think of it as great for Intel at the same time. The biggest problem with Intel right now is lack of competition, and thus, lack of innovation. We are still only seeing quad core from Intel for the mainstream
At least with AMD Ryzen, their pushing Intel to be more creative. Which is always a good thing.
Sweet rig! Looks awesome!!
Why do pictures of computers look better with plants? Funny but true.
Love these builds!! So tiny!
Another QNIX QX2710 fan!!! So how fun was it taking the stand out of the monitor? LOL. I had to do the exact same thing when I added my VESA mount to it.
Awesomesauce! Nough said! :D
Wow, those GPUs are behemoths in your case!
First Ryzen 5 build WHOOO!
7600k is fine for gaming. The 7700k is only better in certain titles.
Pretty decent for the price though.
If you find them way below retail, CFX is a good choice.
Looks great! Love the system! The only very minor issue I have with the build is that the kraken seems to be stretching it's own tubes, is there a way to make them more relaxed?
That's the motherboard not the graphics card.
Why? I forgot, there was a good reason to make the tubes higher than the pump itself.
Wow that graphics card is bright, can you turn down the brightness?
Build looks good. Haven't seen a 750D build in a while.
Something like this would work great for you:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
Yup. Actually most of the time, memory heatsinks are just there for looks. Memory can be cooled just fine without heatsinks on them. Except for the really high end stuff.
Not low quality, just low quality on looks. :)
128GB of RAM. Wow! Seems overkill for anything possible.
Ok please feature, this is the best build i've ever seen!
I remember viewing your first rig Radox, just amazing!
Rig = PC. :)
Love the rig. Looks awesome!
How is the RAM holding up though? 8GB is quite low for a rig of this size.
It's to expect AT ALL. Unless you use LN2.
Reason being is because the FX series is 6 years old now! And it's still very expensive in my opinion for a 6 year old platform.
Going with a newer platform, honestly, is a no brainer in my opinion. But, I'm not here to start an argument.
I love how EVGA sticks with the black color scheme. Looks great!
