Do not do this. There is a very high chance it's an illegitimate key, and will be deactivated

Can you post what parts you have in the list already?

There should be an option that says 'markup', click the PcpartPicker logo, and copy & paste it here.

I was able to add it without a problem. It's possible something you have listed isn't compatible with the motherboard, so it's automatically filtered out

I'm so glad I didn't take precalc my senior year

Everyone I knew complained how bad it was because apparently the teacher was pretty **** as doing their job.

I just decided on an Algebra of Finance class, which was insane how easy it was.

Hell, I didn't have to take a math class, but I decided to take one anyway

It appears AMD has mostly fixed up the major issues so you shouldn't experience anything too crazy

There won't be any noticeable difference (if at all) with the smaller amount of vram in terms of gaming performance. That is unless you're modding whatever game with some really heavy texture mods, then that's where you'll see some differences.

I would strongly recommend San Andreas if you ever get a chance.

In my opinion, it's by far the best one in the whole GTA series

I’ll reconsider against putting it on my wrist, I kinda feel like that may be too ‘out there’ I guess.

Maybe forearm? I’m not sure. I’ve still got a couple weeks to decide

I'll strongly recommend the AMD build here

Your only loss is a negligible amount of FPS from gaming But it will excel in most any productivity workload

It's just overall a better value for your money

But don't get me wrong, the Intel build is also very good. It will do whatever the AMD build will do without a single issue then of course you'll get the slight FPS gain in games

But value wise, AMD all the way

You can

Would be more or less the same, but I believe the 3600 would have a slight edge over the 2600x

For sure

The Ryzen 5 3600 is an excellent choice for recording anything really. Of course there are better options, but they're more expensive

You should be able to record 1080p 60FPS video without a problem, on top of Minecraft running at 60+FPS as long as you have reasonable in game settings

The stock cooler will be sufficient enough for all forms of gaming.

You can even do small overclocks with it, but it'd be better just to let the CPU's turbo boost to handle that automatically

I see, I see

it's pretty much just testing a whole bunch of things till we find out what works. That's the fun part about computers (Sarcasm)

Another one I should have mentioned is to do the same for your graphics card, unplug it and pull it from the system, then reinsert it.

Another idea is would you have a different monitor to try it with?

Looking at my past notes here, it shows there could potentially be data corruption with your storage device. To test that as well, do you have a backup drive you can install an operating system on and try with that?

Comment reply on Forum Topic "PC STARTS UP BLACK SCREEN"

A sudden shutdown shouldn't have killed anything

Did you accidentally unplug the video cable too?

Or try a different video cable

Also make sure your monitor is on the right input setting

(just getting the basic stuff out of the way first)

I would start there, or at least unplug the video cable and plug it back in from both sides

Pull the memory and reseat them as well

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Would this be good enough for 1080p60 on medium?"

  • 1 point

It will be enough But you should get a 2x4GB set of memory, only one single stick will take a hit on CPU performance. Not major, but enough to notice.

I would also recommend a Solid State Drive to install windows on, that way your computer will be up and running in 10 seconds or less

The only way that's really achievable is if the room temperature is 15 or less. Considering that's rather chilly, I doubt it

It's in fact dangerous if your CPU is cooler than the surrounding temperature because it will eventually create condensation

I made some changes that will better benefit you

I changed the single stick of 8GB 2666Mhz for 2x4GB set of 3000 Mhz memory. This way your memory will run in dual channel, which will have improved performance over single channel, and the faster speed will also show some performance gains.

The power supply. It's cheaper than the one you listed, but it's newer and will be pretty much the same as your original choice. The only real downside is that it's only semi modular, but that's a small price to pay for it being $30+ cheaper

can you give more info on the problem? Because that's a very vague statement. Like whats it doing/not doing?

Make sure you fully connected the power cables to the card

Make sure the video cable is plugged into the card and monitor

Make sure the monitor is also plugged in and powered on

You can also take the card out, and put it back in (This has been known to work)

But anyway, keep at it, get your work done. Don't blow it on the last year.

There's going to be little to no difference at all between the two

Those comments you read are likely just people trying to trash on AMD.

Now if there is a driver error or something between AMD and windows, then that's something that'll be fixed relatively quickly.

I've used both platforms for years now, and never noticed any difference
