Update for anyone who's interested :

I receive an email from Newegg a few days ago. I think it's from there, the timing and dates seems to fit and considering that my pc wasn't infected and that I rarely buy anything with my credit card in real stores.

I don't think I will buy anything from Newegg again haha...

Newegg understands the importance of protecting our customers' information. We are writing to inform you of a recent incident that involved your order and payment card information. You may have also received a preliminary email notice about this incident on September 19, 2018. If so, this notice is a follow-up to that initial email. On September 18, 2018, we became aware of a potential security incident involving unauthorized code on our website. We removed the code from our site and engaged a leading cybersecurity firm to assist with an investigation and to help secure our network. We also reported the incident to law enforcement and the payment card networks. On October 15, 2018, the investigation determined that the unauthorized code on the site may have collected customers' order and payment card information–including name, address, payment card number, expiration date, and card security code (CVV2)–for certain orders placed on our website where a credit card number was entered while placing the order between August 13, 2018, and September 19, 2018. On October 23, 2018, we confirmed that you placed an order on the site during this period that may have been involved in the incident. We encourage you to closely review your payment card statements for any unauthorized charges and immediately report any such charges to the bank that issued your card. Payment card network rules may reduce or eliminate your liability for unauthorized charges that are timely reported. The phone number to call is usually on the back of your payment card. If you have any questions about this incident, please contact us at 888-724-0243, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Woops, when I check earlier only the first sentence showed! Must be a bug. I did remove the gpu earlier, nothing changed. Same thing when I removed one stick of ram at time, changing them of slot, testing with other sticks of ram and nothing changed either.

And nop, don't look like this motherboard have a beep speakee but I will check tomorrow to be sure. Never heard any beep either.

I did tried to reset cmos but don't think it worked! Will post my parts tomorrow.

Yes, all the fans spins. When I power the pc, the fans spins, gpu fans and light are on. I don't see led light on gpu, but I have lights on the side (gigabyte AC-350N gaming wifi mini itx) who are powered on like a 1/2 seconds and went off when they usually stay on, and that's why I tought that my motherboard might be dead.

I just gave my old one to my mom because her monitor died and she needed one at the moment and I didn't while I was away on vacation (:

I check if all the cables were well connected, tried anothet set of ram, psu, nothing. Can my mortherboard be dead if the all the pc fans and gpu run?

Comment reply on Forum Topic "So...Canada is legalizing Cannabis?"

I don't do drugs but I'm not againts the legalization, we can't stop people to do it anyway. It's a little the same story that for alcohol, smoking, etc that are legal and it's propably "safer" to buy drugs from legal stores than dealers.

There will be rules like :

  • For 18+, 19 in Ontario

  • Derived food like pot muffins aren't legal

  • It will be sold in SQC stores (Société québécoise du cannabis), in Qc at least, online too. I read that the price will be between 7$ and 10$/gram but it is not sure yet

  • No pub promoting it, only informative advertising

  • You can have 30g on you outside and keep something like 150g in your house

  • Qc does not allowed marijuana plants in your house

  • Zero tolerence when your driving, if you do your driver's license will be taken for 90 days

  • In public if you respect the rules (like smoking, from at least 9m of buildings) and not allowed near hospitals, schools, bars, park, etc. In Ontario, you can't in public places at all, only in your house

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Should the $ sign go before of after numbers?"

I'm late, but Canada too ? In Qc we always placed it after.

Edit : Now that I look on google, in Québec, according to the Office québécois de la langue française, we put the $ after. So, in english we write it $5, but in french 5$... Well, that's must be why I am always so confused if websites are really in $CAD or $US lol.

I respect yours too. :) Firearm safety ok, but from what, others ? Because everybody have weapons today ? That's really not obvious for me. Here, nobody (well, not nobody, but certainly not everybody) have guns and I never felt the need to have one either. I just want to understand.

Don't worry, I'm not offended :) I don't want to offend you either by what I say/lack of knowledge. It's easy to talk and be againts gun when I don't live in the same reality than you. That's probably why I don't understand why everybody needs guns in the first place.

Because the parents didn't properly teach their children about firearms safety. Often because it's seen as better to keep them away from kids all together which only leads to them not knowing the danger of it when they eventually do get to it (kids will eventually get into everything).

I feel that it's could be a problem easily avoided. Teach your child, or lock it, or don't have bullet in them if your child play with that.

Because kids are like drunk little adults. They are curious and stupid. A 3 year old doesn't understand what a gun can do and see's their parent with it so it must be something of interest.

Yes and that's exactly for this that parents should lock their gun correctly or at least not have bullet in them if they let it within reach of their child. This is a thing that could be easily avoided if they were responsible.

A minor can own a gun although not 1000% sure on that although like everyone in the country would be breaking the law if that was the case. Its one of those things you gotta live here to understand.

Yup, I guess, like I said the other day. All of that is just my point of view from Qc where the reality about guns is different from yours. It's easy to talk about that and be against guns and all that when it's so different here. But we have all our problems at the end :)

"But if they run these tests and discover you also have cancer, they usually won't treat your cancer unless you're on the verge of dying from it" well that's... sad ? I don't really know what to say. Hospital won't even treat them if they aren't dying...

Easily the worse among 1st world countries and zero idea why we can't solve it Not sure how usa work and how much you already pay taxes, but it would increase if it would be free ? From my point of view it would be worth it. Same for free education. Here, for university we pay like 1000-1500$/session so 2000-3000$/year. It makes about 6000$ for a BAC without books and etc and some people have some debts when they graduate.. I couldn't even pay myself to go to university if I would go so I can't imagine having to pay 37K haha.

That happens due to irresponsible gun owners, if they locked their guns away in a safe that issue would nearly go away over night. Accidental shootings by adults are once again due to negligence by poor trigger discipline, aiming at something you don't want to shoot, etc. That happens due to irresponsible gun owners, if they locked their guns away in a safe that issue would nearly go away over night. Of course, there will always be ways to kill people no matter what weapons are prohibited. If someone really want to kill, sadly he will find a way and do it.

I hear story where a 3 year old play with guns and accidentally kill his brother, sister, parent, and that's what sadden me(?) the most... Why a kid play with that in the first place ? I have impression that there is a lot of irresponsible gun owners (like with everything) like you say, who maybe doesn't realise that's a weapon who can kill and harm a lot. Not a toy for children to play and put near them without problem. I don't know...

It helps that you guys have a better mental health system and don't have more guns than people. We have gun control but it involves no mental health screening and is just a criminal background check and possibly a very short waiting period.

Really ? Nothing more than that ? Well, that would be a good idea haha ! Are minors allowed to have guns ? Why do they access gun, by their parents?

Probably it's because I do not live in USA so I don't really understand your reality, but I don't understand why guns are so important to people that they need it and that it would be horrible if guns would be taken away. I don't have any problems without, I don't feel threatened by not having guns. But, well, in a country or everyone have it you should probably have one.

There is our poor mental health system which needs fixed, nearly all school shooters had some serious mental health issues that went untreated. Often it is schizophrenia. Not to mention it seriously effects the homeless and vets too and is generally all around bad. Don't even get me started on the cost.

Yep, another problem with the mental heal support for kids/teens (well, everyone really) is bad, here too. It's not as bad will school shooting, but mostly intimidation. Teachers and schools direction who do absolutely nothing and even denied that happens when parents are complaining until the poor kid kill himself. That's sad and should not happen.

What are the homeless doing ? They can't afford the cost of hospital, they just don't and let themself die/get sick or I don't know ? I can imagine a little, for humans this is free (carte soleil) but pets we have to pay, there is not system like that and when their pet get sick a lot of people have to euthanize the pet because they can't pay... People in USA must have a lot of debt?

(I don't think I wrote so much in english since last english class like 3 years ago or more)

And as PCPPAccountant said it wouldn't stop school violence

(Sorry for bad english, not native langage) It wouldn't stop school violence but I'm sure there really would be less school shooting, accidents with toodler and child accidentally shooting and killing another family member and etc if some people could not so easily access to guns.

I am from Qc, Canada, and here I often hear at the tv so many things like this that happens in USA It makes me sad. Things like this happens almost never here and we have gun control. It's a lot more difficult for teens do to things like this when they can't have a easy access.

I do understand it would not easy to take guns away in USA when there is like 357 millions.. I really don't know how it is possible to do, but since the beginning of 2018, there have been 18 school shooting. According to Wikipedia, there have been 19 school shooting in Canada since 1884. I personnally think there is really a problem with guns in USA that should be solved in one way or another...
