Can be hard to find the right white part/piece.
So with me hand cutting the thing, it actual manages to just "fit" in front of the MB. And stays pretty well.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DYSVPCQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Did not spray the acrylic, they come white with different transparency levels that effects the level of white. Thanks!
It does fantastic, but ill double check and post temps later tonight. Personally this has been my fav AIO cooler and has worked the best so far.
its for sale! lol but kind of a crazy price
lights are from the fans and the built in led strips from the snowblind case, they are pro grade and EXTREMELY bright.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DYSVPCQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 was the acrylic sheet.
I sprayed the gpu bracket with Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover White Primer Spray Paint 12oz.
Cant remember temps off my head, ill monitor tonight.
Im not using any sata drives, only M.2 on the mb, for the fan its actually just sitting there lol.
Ive got 2 fans on the front of the radiator and 2 behind it, pulling air into case, everything else is pushing out.
Would love to see the finished product!
Lol I’m not really wanting to sell it but if there is some super rich guy out there who wants it he can have at it. Sorry man.
it's going to be ok
It kind of holds it self in place nicely from the bottom left wedging in.
It would seem so is everyone else! After flipping it over and testing, there is a 1c change in gpu temps. So.. it is really just for looking nice, but also it is pushing air down into the psu/cable chamber and not letting dust settle down there is what I'm telling my self!
Thanks man appreciate it!
I put up the upper part of the MB armor after I cut it with a dremel. A laser would be optimal for sure.
I'll look into this!
It's more than just about being all white to be all white, but the more white the better you can see the image on the side panel. Any black in the background and you don't really see much.
the very bottom left of it anchors nicely and just managed to hold it self up! (THANKFULLY) Because I thought I was going to need to put some screws in it initially.
Yeah I'm looking into a local shop at the moment.
Yes this was an issue I ran into, you have to use a metal circle saw on low or it starts to melt the plexi.
Yeah I was checking those out yesterday, currently running razer huntsman, goliathus, and G502 Hero mouse. Really wish each came in white lol. Maybe ill spray paint them ha.
You see the future! A wise one you are!
I got it second hand, I don’t think you can buy it. But you could make your own, YouTube custom snowblind case.
Youtube DIY Snowblind panel, they teach you how to make one. I tried that first with an Exacto and it works on the out sides, but didn't work on the inside square cut outs. Thank you!
Sorry for my Ignorance, how does one get featured?
If only they didn't cost so much more for just being white lol. Though I am thankful for them, they really help bring it all together.
You are too kind!
Yeah you would think more brands would be making more of all colored parts, but what do we know! You can for sure do it your self with enough time and not giving up! cool I'll check them out for sure.
I can't say it enough, always be checking your local OfferUp, LetGo, Facebook marketplace and Craigslist for deals. I've got a few app that send me notifications when something in a certain range is posted.
Appreciate it man. I actually just stumbled upon The battle stations Reddit, i’ve got a long road ahead of me lol.
I had to read this a few times over haha
Lol thank you! My next project is redoing the office, desk and peripherals in all white.
I will say this is my first gigabyte, I’ve pretty much always used MSI, I do prefer the msi bios still, but everything has worked pretty nicely.
I think one of the coolest parts about this build is actually the story behind the money for it. This is my 6th build in total, when I started my first build, I had about $400 I saved up and bought some older gaming pc parts. I then cleaned them all up, got it looking nice and sold it for $700 (Thhis price was still less that new msrp). I did this with each of my next computers till this one where I built on the $3000 I’ve made. It’s profit but also fun putting together used parts. I’m ALWAYS looking for used deals on OfferUp, facebook marketplace and craigslist. You could do it too!
I’m honored! Thank you
I did try this configure first, but it just caused too much bend in the tubes I thought. Thank you!
Always check your local OfferUp, Craig’slist, Facebook marketplace!
That was my first thought, but the amount of terrible reviews on that board scared me off.
lol in this case, too much is a good thing!
I mean I guess the Anidees is a little bigger of a case, so it has more space/room to work and more fan slots/airflow. But imo it just looked better. To each our own!
I just shoved it in there and put two screws in it honestly! I never measured heat before so idk the difference it made but i'm sure it helped a bit. If i had to choose between the 280x and the Anidees - AI CRYSTAL CUBE PRISMATIC ATX Mid Tower Case, id go with anidees just saying
Thank you, though it is nice, it was a little pain with cable management. If you look at my other cube build, I actually prefer that case. Next I'm gutting out a snowblind case and going all white with some super strong LEDs.
I had to custom that fan to fit lol
Dell refurb when they were running a 15% off discount code plus Ebates was running a 15% cash back code.
