$16.87/h for a full time job.
Will do sir
It came with it. I'm not sure why
Well I didn't know they were a bad etailer but we went down to our local cpl and didn't get any parts from the online store. I will check out your saved parts list.
Yeah I will fix it the next time I go over to his place
Stolen Name!!! hahahaha but good stuff! Hope he enjoys the build
haha thank you sir.
haha yeah he's big on all tech, his house is filled with it now.
Oh thanks heeeps! I'm not sure why it came with a window in all honesty, it was a nice surprise for me. It could possibly be a country difference but I don't know anyone else who has this case
lol, he is pretty ballin
haha thanks man.
Yeah dude Us Aussies just call it the "Australia tax" since everything is more expensive here
Nice part choices
A very nice little build, I like the motherboard choice.
Screenshots of 5.0ghz please
I like evga psu's
Nice case bud
Nice overclock! You got a real good chip the for only needling 1.23V to get 4.7ghz congrats haha. Great build enjoy the swift when you get it aswell
You will be fine at 1440p but don't go 4k your 760s wouldn't be able to run games at higher than the "minimum playable 30fps" at 1440p you should be able to get some great experiences gaming with that setup on high-medium settings and on something like tomb raider even on ultimate setting you will get a nice smooth gameplay. If you were wondering 2 760s perform like a 780 ti when in SLI so it as a great price to performance setup, but in games where it doesn't take advantage of the 2nd gpu you will face some horrors.
The g3258 is only dual core so it will be much cooler than any quad core cpu and as it's a "special" chip for the anniversary they also added a stock cooler made of copper instead of aluminium so it would perform better aswell.
This is what you call a console Rapist
Nice build name. Should look real sexy once you get an AIO or anything other then the stock intel heatsink
Very odd build but I guess it will perform fine.
Awesome build, can't wait to see you next "i7" build, with broadwell I'm assuming. Happy saving
What ... Why
Well you've just smashed a world record then... Are you sure? Can you give us a screenshot?
How long did you spend researching the components for you build? Also that 770 is 100% not at 1.9ghz unless you are a god of over clocking and won the silicon lottery and are using LN2 to cool it.
Well I agree with you about the ram and 32gb is overkill however recommending ddr4 is plain stupid, when it's going to cost 30% more than ddr3 at launch which is q1 2015. The point for ssd on games is for faster boot times and less down time during load screens to a larger ssd to put some games on is justified there, and going with a 650-750W psu would be silly when you don't know what wattage the gtx 870-880 will use so he needed to be safe on that front. Aswell as his overclocking that I will assume he'll do at some point since he has a k processor a real good AIO and a top overclocking motherboard.
I think this build has an extreme amount of swag. My build that I will be doing soon is almost identical to this
Well who knows maybe in the future, games may be optimised for more threads it's just future proofing
Glad I'm not your friend. I would've been pissed if you did this to me. But I guess if your mate doesn't want to put in the time to learn about computers he deserved to get ripped off big time.
Dang. Just about the best 1150 build I've seen. Good stuff
Quite an odd build but two 760s will still perform like a 780ti so I can't say its a bad choice
People stop telling him to flip the psu, he has his computer on carpet so if he flipped it, it would surely overheat and possibly lead to killing other components in his build aswell as possibly starting a fire, please think before you give someone advice.
Lol that pentium swag. That old fella is almost 10 years old now and still not the worst thing in the world
Good choice of parts. That Xeon is an awesome price to performance part and since it's a Xeon it's going to outlast all the other components in your build
Yes crucial mx100s are amazing bang for buck drives
Having an sli bridge that looks like that it would drive me cray. Buy an evga one please they are beautiful, or a asus rog one
You can play minesweeper with a 4ghz 4790k? That can't be right I swear you needed 4.5 minimum for the perfect minesweeper experience
Damn that build is good for the next 5 years. Great future proofing choices like the 780s with 6gb of ram. Love it +1
Ooooooh I love the impact I just can't go without my PCI-e slots. +1 for mini itx
ssd for next upgrade
Haha, I liked that essay. Doesn't it feel so satisfying after weeks of work to buy cpu parts and slowly, and painfully one day you will have the top of the line everything and then you'll be set for like 5 years after that point. Then you can save for your next build. The story really makes this an easy +1 imo
Great parts choice!
ooooooh I love that motherboard, this is an awesome budget build
On ultra, watchdogs uses around 3.5 gb which is over your 780 ti's and even with a card that has enough vram you experience immense stuttering on ultra including an r9 295x2. Maybe in future patches or driver updates it will be fixed. You will be able to run it 60+ fps on ultra but the stuttering will kill you.
What will you be using this beast for? Still can't play watchdogs on ultra. Haha
The fans you should be using on radiators are static pressure fans, it's not all about rpm. And what do you mean by does the cooler get cold?
