Oh wow those pictures don’t even look real almost like stock images you’d see as promotion for the products.. beautiful build and photography!!
no problem, and no it doesn't i'm using the bluetooth dongle that came with my keyboard
For the desktop you mean? I used Rainmeter, there's a subreddit that's helpful if you're new to it: www.reddit.com/r/Rainmeter/
I personally used honeycomb icons: http://rainmeterhub.com/skins/honeycomb/
Elegant clock: http://rainmeterhub.com/skins/elegant-clock/
And this for pc stats: http://rainmeterhub.com/skins/lines-2-0/
Just with some double sided adhesive pads i had spare, happened to fit perfectly. And Thanks!
Very good, i don't play them much myself but most shooters don't take up too much GPU usage so can get 100fps on games like Overwatch and CS:GO easy.
No problems not having free sync or g-sync if the fps stays above 60, performance is great on this monitor. And the 1080 achieves that in all games high/ultra settings in 3440x1440. Not encountered any screen tearing or flickering.
Hahaha thank you!!
Thanks! This is what I was aiming for and luckily the 2x 120mm at the top only just fit in the case, they would stay in place even without their screws!
Yes as below it is Windows 10 with Rainmeter, just added some honeycomb icons, a clock, system stats and hid the standard windows icons/taskbar.
Ah I see, I'm surprised it is strong enough to pull it down but in that case then yes having it over the top is a good shout.
May I ask though why you have the sleeved cables from the GPU going over the top of the card? Personally I think it would look a lot cleaner dropping the other way down into the hole in the case at the bottom specifically placed for the GPU wiring. Would be able to see that ROG logo on the GPU a lot better too! Just my opinion.
Ok that's good to hear, thanks. I was thinking the same but have read a lot about issues with this monitor not working properly with Free sync enabled.
How are you finding the 1080 with 3440x1440 resolution? Good enough or is it worth upgrading to a Ti?
Great, thanks for the prompt responses everyone
Nice one thanks for all your help !
It is an LG 43UH603V
And i'm pretty sold on the 21:9 aspect ratio now, want something that will really feel like a different experience.
Will go for a gtx1070 instead then on your recommendation as i can't afford a 1440p ultra wide, only problem now is if i get a 29' ultra wide is 2560x1080 decent enough for this size?
Planning my build with a 1080, and being awkward I would like to play both FPS and cinematic games, are most competitive games suitable for 21:9?
It says on EVGAs website that all the FTW cards are RGB?
Thanks , seems like the CPU is the main thing I could re-think. I'll look further into it.
Ok thanks I will look into going for AMD, as although this will be 90% gaming I am interested in getting more involved in image editing,
and with the case my intention was to have the AIO at the front so hopefully this shouldn't be an issue. I don't have much more desk space to work with and would like to keep it on top next to the screen
