Nice, I dig it!
whats the specs on the keyboard?
No, read the description
the motherboard has 4 system fan headers
damn that is clean AF
Yes the cooler supports AM4 out of the box. It does not block any of the RAM slots so RAM height was not an issue
No sorry, I haven't tested those games
77C on the GPU during gaming
Nope, works great
This build is old, I built this in like 2015
they come with the case
the heatsink itself does not cover any RAM slots, only the fan
What are you using to connect the two PCs, a capture card and a mixer?
The pump is a little loud for my taste but no complaints otherwise, fans are quiet and it was easy to install.
I recently ran some benchmarks with the 580 you can check out here > https://youtu.be/pdcg299g0yw
that looks amazing!
that is a fan/LED controller
It's been working fine so far, no problems with overclocking or anything like that. The UEFI is a little basic compared to the Crosshair VI Hero board that I also own though
I would personally ditch the stock cooler if you're looking to overclock to 3.8+ GHz just to keep the fan noise/temps down.
An AIO isn't really needed though, you'll be plenty fine with a decent mid-range air cooler
Nope I still have it on hand
In the slots I have them in it's not an issue, they slide right underneath the fan
No sorry, I don't have a stock cooler on hand
Super clean, I like it!
thanks man, I don't know if it's flashy enough for that but I appreciate it lol
No, you will only be able to run 2400 or 2133 MHz RAM with this chipset
If you wait for some of the cheaper Ryzen CPUs to be released, sure. I wouldn't pair these parts with a 1700/1800X CPU and motherboard though
Benchmarks are up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdFZ9tCFjG8
what motherboard and case are you going with?
Sad times man lol
The Neutron 3.0 lol
It's decent for the price but if you can budget an extra $10-$15 I'd go for something else
thank you sir!
Benchmarks will be coming shortly my friend! I'm still running them ATM...
The goal is to get CPUs and GPUs on launch but that's just a dream at this point lol
Yeah it is, it'd make more sense to pair with an i5-7500 or something like that but I took what I could get ;)
Nice job, looks really clean!
Nice specs, what's the inside look like?
You should invest in a nice mouse (and mouse pad) when you can, it will improve your aim in those shooters you play. Something like a Nixeus Revel, Dream Machines DM1 Pro S or even the Logitech G102 would suffice
I like that vinyl wrap. How involved was installing it?
If you hold the wrench at a 45 degree angle that can sometimes work. Also do it without your RAM and GPU installed. Otherwise getting an angled wrench from a different CPU cooler if you have one would probably work best
