Using synthetic stress tests the CPU never breaks 70, usually tops out around 68 but I have seen 69 on the odd occasion and the GPU sits right around 45 while doing bench marks with a very solid overclock on it of about 2100 and 7700, so overall its real solid. Next challenge is in a couple weeks when the 3950x comes out and I drop that into this rig.

Basically zero as the dust doesn't get trapped in it as the airflow is obviously very very good. Quick shot of canned air every 8 weeks or so keeps everything great.

The only issue I have had is after the newest update the board doesnt seem to hold its mystic light settings all the time, sometimes on boot some of the rgb headers dont come on but once I switch the profile in mystic light to something different they light right up. Certainly not something I consider to be a big issue

Actually that makes a lot of sense, the resolution is a guess gpu bound as opposed to cpu bound in the grand scheme of things huh

Not that I have experienced so far, Im guessing if push really came to shove than maybe there might be but I am gaming on a z35 predator monitor so its a superwide but only 1080 @ 200hz. If I was trying to game on a 4k I could see running into some issues

The Core P5 case comes with a riser cable, which is the one I used. As of now I have had zero problems with my GPU and it infact is scoring higher on 3dmark in this new build

I liked the Aqua, it could have been in the budget but my local shop doesn't sell Asrock and I buy local to support them. Also I might be wrong but I think that board is E-Atx, which I cant fit on this case with my Distribution Block. As for the chipset fan, so far I haven't heard it once and it seems to be doing its job just fine, until it stops doing its job I dont see any need to ditch it.

I think the 3900x will do just fine lol, however I am toying with the idea of waiting it out till the 3950x hits to make a final choice but in reality I do more gaming than anything else and I believe the single core clock on the 3950x is reported to be lower than the 3900x so Ill probably still go that way

It wasnt the intention, I was intending on having a 3900x but it wasn't available at the time, but its been ordered. It will find its way in eventually, but for now this will work just fine.
