Why would you buy that case for a budget build?
I agree with xDiiThy. I used that same PSU to power my current build which includes an FX 6300 and an r9 380 and works absolutely fine, no coil whine, I can barely here the fan but for $34 which I got on a black friday deal. Its a steal.
$100 too expensive, 6/10. IGN.
No he got it right. 2k is essentially 1440p, just as how 4k is 2160p.
Great setup. Just curious what make is that keyboard?
Love the father, daughter setup you have their ;)
Get an Aftermarket cooler and overclock that bad boy and your sorted!
Fix the cables pls!
Are you a smart fridge? Can I get notifications on my phone if I have any milk in the fridge?
Working with a non-modular PSU in a micro ATX is quite difficult so I suggest if you have the extra money later on, to sell the current PSU and buy a fully modular PSU. It will be much easier for cable management if your only using the cables needed.
You spent $95 dollars on a 550w Power Supply that is not even fully modular?
Very very nice. You got a good build for the price although if it were me I would have personally gone for the msi r9 380 4GST white edition but it looks great either way. Also, I love your desk. Could you by any chance have a link to where you purchased from or some schematics if you custom built it? +1
Rose will Gungir. I had never seen it before either
Are you...back? Or just visiting?
Very nice budget build! A console killer indeed but I might advise you to get an extra Hardrive since you already have an SSD. Its amazing how space get's filled up so quickly especially if your a gamer
How are you liking that keyboard? :)
Solid build mate for the price but I would recommend you replace the psu. That's not a corsair model. Also you'd get much better perfomance if you overclock that cpu. Grabbing an aftermarket cooler would do you good.
What's with all that storage?
Love the build but some pictures of the inside would be nice?.....unless it's a total mess in their.
You have proved yourself righteous to Lord Gaben!
I like everything else except your choice of GPU and PSU, in a mini itx build a modular PSU is crucial so as not to take up any wasted space to increase airflow and that GPU, for that price, you could have scored a r9 380x, don't really know why you paid so much for a 270x
Its a good $600 build don't get me wrong but why the choice of an 850w PSU on a non SLI build? This looks more like a budget build and I think that PSU is a bit overkill, you could have saved a ton of money and put it onto a CPU or GPU instead. Also a $70 network adapter?....Bruh please don't tell me you paid that much?
Great build no doubt for that price! Can't believe you got a 380x for the price of a 380.
Weird choice of power supply for a single 7770 don't you think? A 500w would have done just fine
Love the build don't get me wrong but am a but sceptical of that card playing gta 5 in ultra settings at 1080p. But very nice $500 build.
If you watched he's youtube videos, you would know that he was able to fix the gpu sag.
A CD Writer for $50. What are you burning? 4k videos?!
Love the build also in the future I would suggest picking up a Cryorig h7, I know stock cooler will be fine since your not overclocking the chip but it would fit in aesthetically with that sweet white RAM ;)
What's with that weird placing of that fan.
That is some sexy cable managenent their bud! solid build and room for upgrade.
I agree with everything else except the ssd. $50 for a 120gb is not that bad.
Great choice in parts! Don't be afraid of pushing that rig to its limits. I have that cpu and I can tell you it doesn't give in very easily.
Great Build Mate! Although you could have added more pictures of the inside of the build. Also how is that cooler working for you? Am planning to get it.
Great build mate? Also if you do upgrade what will be your choice? R9 380 or gtx 970?
RAM was a little expensive don't you think. You could have got a 16GB set for that price.
You forgot the PSU and hard rive. Also I suggest you choose another case like the corsair spec because that GPU is pretty large and will block your drive bays.
Depends on the Motherboard you choose. The AM3+ socket can get you as high as an fx 9590.
That is the corsair spec 02 not the spec 01
Wait.. Did you just day the PSU is out of the case? How are you even closing that side panel? And why would you choose a micro ATX case but buy an ATX MOBO?
Why you teasing us like this? Can't we get more pictures of the inside?
He just said he didn't have enough money at the time. And if he's happy with what he's got, you don't need to continuously tell him he made the wrong decision.
your words are very convincing. This clearly is the build for you.
Am sorry but at the price you had, You could have spent less on Storage and more into the CPU, you could have probably picked up a i5 4690k with a decent motherboard. Also why the choice in PSU unless you plan on a board that doesn't support it?
Honestly, couldn't have done it better myself at that budget and your Cable management is spot on. But I think you might have put yourself at a disadvantage if you do choose to upgrade in the future when you chose that PSU. 400w nowadays is the minimum when it comes to power usage of parts.
To be honest, this build would have been perfect in a Micro ATX Case seeing as how empty it is on an ATX case but very neat build. +1
I will now*
Anyone notice that GPU Sag?
That setup is as clean as lord Gabe's underwear. Mind if I ask where you got that lovely table from?
How are you liking the Karura and mouse? Thinking about picking that Combo as well?
