That is a very nice build. I love woodworking and metal work as well, I really like building things and creating things but at the moment I don't have the money to do this kind of stuff :P
Hope your finger is feeling better. My uncle is a builder and he's got all sorts of stories.
Nice job. +1
I laughed pretty hard when I saw the pic of your box near your monitor. Nice build.
That looks amazing. Very nice build and pics.
Good to see another non-brand loyal gpu buyer... Hard to find those kinds of people...
+1, Nice Build, Happy wife, Happy life.
You are able to plug in usb 3.0, I believe the reason is the board has 3.1 headers, which seam to be compatible with a 3.0 plug. But the site does not display them as 3.0 headers.
Nice Build man! Glad there is another person who loves Surface products as well. I got a mid-range Surface Pro 4, use it as my book at school (OneNote) its awesome. Recently built a new computer (not as good as this but still, I'm happy) But waiting on a cable combs to make it look better before I post it.
Sucks the Surface Book had a faulty screen, twice.
Nice build, Great job, Congrats on the feature. Screw apple. ;P
Ayyyyyy. New I remembered this build when I saw it on Room Tour Projects.
Congrats man gj.
I did go and watch the video but I had no headphones so I couldn't listen, if that's what you meant. That's pretty good, temp wise. The fan does look nice.
I'm getting the exact same case and GPU, I love how you built this and the cable management is on point. +1
What cpu temps does it get?
A 5ms response time is unnoticeable to the human eye. There is little to no difference between a 1ms and a 5ms response time. For example; Ping is usually 33 to 66 when playing in home country, (unless you live in Australia) And that I usually in-noticeable in most games. While it is faster, you wont get much improvement.
Daym. That's some powerful hardware right there. Nice job.
My personal opinion: Some cable combs would make it look that extra 3% better but it doesn't really matter.
And is that a Surface book I spy?
And an rgb drink mat.
What are the temps like with all those rads?
Nice job. Looks nice and clean. I've got same graphics card, waiting for a couple more parts before I put it together though.
Really like the case. +1
That is a very nice, clean build. +1
I'm impressed. I love custom mods. Planning to do a couple when my parts arrive.
Congrats on the featured and the smexy looking computer.
+1 That looks very clean. The photo quality is also good which makes the whole thing look even better.
If only the Founders edition had an rgb backlight instead of green...
Nice little budget build +1
Very good photography, what camera/ camera settings do you use.
I got an Olympus something-or-other but I haven't familiarized myself with the settings enough to know how to use it properly :P
Cant be bothered.
Will look out for your other build though.
My download speed is 2.6Mb/s its not even a MB...
Nice Build tho. I really want the NZXT Aer fans, but they are too expensive, so I'm only getting a hue+.
Well I hopped on and read the update to this post... 5 minutes before I didn't bother looking at my emails and deleted them all. (Yes, Yes, I know I probably didn't win) But could I have conformation just in case I did and deleted it xD
I'm actually stupid.
No, I'm not saying I won, I just didn't bother looking through my emails... (I probably didn't)
Nice job on the build mate, the photo quality is actually pretty decent :)
xD Read this comment while looking at the photos then got to the last one and burst out laughing. It is true doe.
That is best partlist I have ever seen.
You may experience a slight bottleneck on that cpu but it will be virtually unnoticeable.
But srsly half the build is a monitor....
That is a very good flexible tubing build, it looks like it flows down from the top of the case, well done. +1
That case is $200 here in lowly Aus. RIP Nice build ill be sure to watch on YouTube
hmm, ok. Thanks for the clarify.
It is, isn't it?
Hey man, nice job on the case mods.
I'm getting that case soon and I reckon I might do something similar (and link to this build) cause that is a great idea.
I'm getting an EVGA 1070 and probably putting two fans on top above the graphics card.
Also what 80mm fans did you use? I can only find 80x25mm fans
Nice job mate.
Love the non brown Noctua fans and the green colour scheme.
There is a cut-out in the front of the case with space on the top and bottom for air to get in. You should have no problems installing a radiator there. have a look at some pictures of the case if you don't understand what I mean.
Nice job mate. I didn't know those fans existed before looking at this build, now I am adding them to my partlist sooo yea..
Oh ok, lol
That cable management is flawless +1
Nice build, Good to see a 1060 Turbo
Do you not have any fans on the radiator?? I would suggest getting some...
Other than that nice build :)
Congrats on the feature. The desk shots look very clean. :) +1
I wish I had money...
That looks Spectacular. I am giving you my +1 not only due to the quality of the build, but also because of the time and effort and time again you put into this. I can only imagine how long that custom vinyl wrapping took. Grate job mate :)
Nice job for a first build :) I would take the cpu overclock down to maybe 4.6 and see if that affects performance in gta, also for longevity.
You may need to add more fans, I didn't have time...
$80 spare if you need to make further adjustments :)
It does take longer but it is nothing too serious, we are talking a couple seconds. In my experience any way...
Lol. I know I just thought there was a reason for it xP
tbh that motherboard is very expensive
If you are that concerned for price get a 120gb ssd and a 1tb hdd, only if you are concerned about monetary value. Other than that that is a pretty good build :)
That is looking good, I only learned the 1050 came out by looking at this :P It may be worth your while springing for an 80+gold psu but apart from that that looks pretty good :).
EDIT: Also if you have the money getting a 1060 is advised
haha notice, I never win anything in giveaways. If you get bored you should see if you can put the TITAN's heat sink of the 980ti, sell it on eBay or something. +1
My friend also gets higher temps on Overwatch than any other game. (GTX 970) :/
I probably wouldn't have gotten a founders edition 1070 due to heat issues but eh, that is just me.
If you want to do 144hz gaming, get a 1070 or above. You can save money by getting an i5 6500 and a nice B150 board or something.
There are RGB light strips along the edge of the window, the most common RGB case lighting is a NZXT Hue+
Nice Build. Great work on the cable management. How well does that CRYORIG cooler do? Would you be able to overclock with the temps you are getting? Will look forward to your upgrades on this machine.
Also it looks like you have put the ram side by side instead of spread apart. On the sabretooth motherboard (I think) you put the first 2 ram sticks on the grey ram slots. Not a big issue but ehh.
Dat table doe. Nice build, very clean
Nice desk setup! Nice build as well.
Yea, I was originally going to go with that one but I decided to go for a Z170 for upgradeablitiy
Nice build! I really like that motherboard but it wont fit into my budget... $345 in Australia.
Also, are those Corsair ML fans any good?
Nice build mate +1
I am using the MSI Arctic Mortar so the motherboards will look similar when I get money.
