No it does not. I was working on making one some time back and had twins...needless to say, it's not finished lol
Sorry for the late reply. Been absent lately. lol
Motherboard was from Newegg .. Buy most of my stuff from them.
Bought the extra fans for the LED lights. Replaced 3 of the basic fans to increase ambient lighting inside the case.
I still used several of the fans, as I'm running 5 case fans.
LOL, Awesome. It's a really clean look. I got the idea from a youtube video, so don't feel bad.
Don't pay attention to my monitor. lol It's the weakest link in the system and eventually will be replaced, just have other pressing things at the moment taking my time. That's why it took me so long to respond.
Yes, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't handle 4k
I didn't want two empty slots and 32 was complete overkill I think. I can always upgrade to more later if ever I need it
I still have the three 140s that came with the case. I can throw those in the front to replace the 200
Well I'm going to try and make one for this build. Never made one before but I'll post pics when I'm done...if it turns out good. Lol
White sleeved cables is in the future I'm thinking and I think you'll like the back plate i'm working on.
What output are you using? VGA-DVI-HDMI-DISPLAY PORT?
Had a similar issue on my son's build. Had to boot using the DVI output then update the video card drivers. Then rebooted using HDMI output and all worked great.
Easy fix if that's the case.
I'm playing with an idea for my upcoming build that would incorporate a black and white sabertooth, or similar looking tiger/cat, image on a couple pieces
A sabertooth is a tiger right? :)
Yea I can use a different image, If I can't find that one, just liked it. Who is the ASUS Rep do you know?
Guess I'm not explaining it well enough. Lol. The retail box that the ASUS GTX1070 (that I have linked) comes in has a face of a black and white cat (assuming a sabertooth) on the front. I want a good image of just the cat.
If you click my link, then click on that link to the graphics card and look at the last image I think you'll understand
Dont know how to link just the image or I would. Lol
the white and black cat on the left front of the box. May not be a sabertooth, just my guess of what it is. Lol
Doesn't the H440 have a PSU cover so you wouldn't have to worry about it being white?
NewEgg has it for $159 at the moment, but I'm definitely open to suggested alternatives.
Absolutely. I'm also thinking of buying a set of CableMod White Sleeved cables. Anyone have pros / cons on these?
Our schedules didn't coincide. Would have loved the opportunity, and I'm sure he would have too.
im no expert but I think if I'm going to skimp on parts it would be the keyboard and mouse. They are functional and not bad units at all. Am i missing something? What would be the benefit of a high end keyboard and mouse over something like the CM Devastator? Is it purely for gaming or is there some other functions that he would need that don't come on these units?
Exactly. Headroom for upgrades and overclocking. It's still a little overkill but I'll err on the side of caution every time. Lol
Lol. He paid for the parts himself.
Make sure the 4/8 pin power connector near the CPU is plugged in
It's my son's rig, I just built it for him at my house.
Just had same issue with my son's GTX 1080.
I had to use the DVI connection on the GPU to get video, then downloaded and installed the latest GPU Drivers.
Rebooted with GPU using HDMI and everything is good since
Yes, my monitor is a few years old and only has VGA, DVI & HDMI inputs. It was just a GPU driver issue. Once I got to actually upgrade the drivers, everything has worked great.
Purchased a DVI-D Cord after work today.
Attached it and rebooted the PC and I had video.
Installed the newest drivers and switched out the DVI-D for HDMI and all works great.
I'll try grabbing a Display Port and/or DVI-D cord(s) on the way home tonight.
I have DVI-I and VGA cords, but no ports on the GPU for them. lol.
I'll see if that works first before I start disassembling everything..again. lol
Check the 24 Pin Motherboard Power connection and the 4/8 Pin Motherboard power connection, near the CPU.
Steps to Follow possibly?
Screwed up the link..fixed now
Any idea when RX 480s are supposed to be in stock again? Can't find a retailer with any to buy (4 or 8 GB versions. :(
Guess that might help , huh ? lol fixed
