Yeah, it came with a box of parts I bought for $40, there was things like a gtx 550ti, r7 240, bunch of ddr2 and DDR3 ram, some old motherboards with cpus, hard drives and crap like that

Fx series are a lie, says 6 core but it’s really 3 cores hyper threaded, same for all the other ones like 4 hyper threaded for the 8xxx

Kool, only thing I’d suggest doing is maybe have the fan blowing up or towards where you’d exhaust unless you’re currently having it pull up or something.

I’m still waiting for the next ryzen release then I’ll upgrade to one of the higher ends. I’d recommended the fan for its price although I can’t say it’s good, it does push more air than the usual stock fans that’ll come with any case that I’ve noticed. I have 2 other thermaltake fans in this, I haven’t really bothered comparing but they work. The 2 fans that came with my case were complete garbage despite being phanteks brands so I had to replace them with something that I know would at least move some air

Yes, works just fine, this cpu May be 5 gens old but it’s still a very powerful cpu, still surpasses some of the newer locked i5s and does even more damage if overclocked. As for the sli 460s, they hold their own ground on some games but there are times you’ll notice they don’t perform the best compared to newer cards on the more graphical demanding programs/games

There’s probably bottlenecks but I have yet to experience one, from what I hear, it would usually only bottleneck on cpu extensive applications

I needed something for video output as idk why the integrated graphics aren’t working. I don’t see why I would mine with an rx560, that was bought for my other build I posted about 2 weeks ago.

Bay Area? I mean I live in Green Bay, WI if that’s what you’re referring to, it’s been pretty dry too besides having a bunch of overpricing parts but at least once a week, you’d find something worth snatching. I’m actually about to go pick up another system tomorrow for $200 haha, it’s a Dell Optiplex with an i5-6500, 8gb ddr4, 2tb hdd, 256gb m.2 ssd, I’ll most likely rip the 2 hard drives and put in my last raptor drive in and hope to find a cheap gpu and reflip it for my money back

Nice, I have a similar build but there are also slight differences like the color. I have the same case but in white/black with blue led fans. Case was cheap but well worth it’s cost compared to other cases around it’s price range, oh but wait, you actually got it for quite expensive compared to mine so I can’t really say the same.

Pictures of the tower? Either way, kool, but I really would’ve suggested with an AM4 ryzen build for this price point especially since ryzen pretty much outperforms the fx 8320 unless you’re doing ALOT of multi tasking and you also have potential upgrades later on the line

my first overclock to 3.8ghz was done with auto voltage, after rerunning prime95, my temps rose up to the 90s in no time and crashed so i manually put voltages at 1.25 and that fixed the problem, maxing out temps at about 66 Celsius and 32 Celsius idle which i believe is still good.

Just overclocked the ryzen 3 to 3.8 ghz at 1.25v, been getting 60c max temperature for benches, i could probably push it some more but i think 3.8 is good enough for me
