I agree about the heatkiller block. Were you able to get higher freq on the RAM coming from 1700x while on the same motherboard? I am trying to find a 16-32gb kit for whatever is the fastest RAM that will work on CH7.

Also I guess that answers my question about how well the 3900x performs on CH6 motherboard. I have the CH7 and I'm assuming they're about the same, maybe a extra power phase or something. I'm currently using a 2600x I've had for awhile.

Nice! I really like the look of that heatkiller IV over ekwb. I bought one for my evga 1080 ftw2 - it was also one of the only ones I could even find.

amazon im pretty sure. I would get a 450/470 mobo if you are considering building soon. The 500 boards dropping some.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. The one I used was just the H7 not the H7 Plus. As far as I can tell the only difference is the H7 plus comes with 2 fans for push/pull configuration. I believe there is room in the Core V1 case for it IF and IF you do not use the two rear case fan spots. 80mm I think.

Define better performance? Noise performance or thermals or what? I would rather have less noise than I assume the 140mm fans would have being larger. That's generally how a 140mm fan behaves for me. Ymmv

Couple things (love the classic green & black btw).. How does the air cooled gpu fair with all glass front & top exhaust?

How did you fish the cpu pump head through the motherboard? Im looking to use my current corsair H115i pro while I decide on what I wanna do for watercooling. Although, I'm not sure if the hose is long enough to reach.

Looks good but I have to say that spending that amount of money on watercooling and related.. There's no way I'd settled for 3 generations old cpu, 6700k.

Otherwise the red scheme and bends looks nice!

More pictures please! I love this build, color choices, and the super tower. I'm looking to do a dual loop as well in this case sometime. I'm curious on your choice of radiator selections. What made you pick a 360 & 480 instead of dual 480s or 560s this case can support. Just wondering.

You think there is any gain or sacrifice to be made using 480 vs 560mm rads? Essentially I'm getting at what made you choose quad 140 fans VS quad 120 other than you could fit it in here. I'm looking at this case. Have been awhile. Thanks

You'll notice a solid drop with a 240,280, or 360mm aio. The 360 will fit in the front. I have the same case as op. Works great. For me it dropped around 8C on idle (compared to stock cooler on 2700x) and 15c when gaming

Sure would if it fits your power needs. I still use it now, no issues. I like evga power supplies. Personally I would pay a little more for a G3 evga 650-850W psu because it's a smaller unit with eco mode. Otherwise the G+ 650 is fine

This is awesome! What led you to use the PE vs SE ekwb radiators? I wanted to use them but wasn't sure in this pc case. I want to use the 011 dynamic same as yours. The ekwb configuration kept recommending the slim radiators for some reason.

Also what made you pick the silent wings 2 & 3 as your fans? Over something like corsair ML pros and so on.
