You know the graphics card market is great when you can get a 750ti for 100 bucks

Wondering how much power a 390x is gonna use, and if the 600 watts is enough if you're going to overclock at all

Things that don't make sense to me about this build, you bought a 850 pro, while the evo is 30-60 dollars less and only has 6gb less and runs about 7mb/s slower on read, 780t is ridiculously expensive for what it is and is nearly as much as your processor.

Doesn't come with one, but coldzero makes 5 different 970 and 980 backplates that are about 20 bucks

Why do yo you have the fan on the side panel, front, and bottom all pulling air away from your graphics, there are only two fans bringing air in, and that has to go through a radiator?

And I would like to add the the GHZ edition 7870 can in fact clock higher than the standard version of the card.

Comment reply on joshskills712's Completed Build: Gaming Rig

Also, that being wrong about the exact specs of a card because I didn't look it up is an easy mistake, and if you're going to blatantly act as though i sniff paint chips, you should just leave because you're childish

SLI two 960's you have as many cuda cores as a 980, though you only have 2gb of vram

Still though, if it was push pull you want to be exhausting the hot air that the gpu is making up and out of the case, rather than having fans that are just pushing more hot air into the case and increasing temps for everything. Basic airflow principles.

I don't think you could reach 144 fps on a 144hz monitor on recent games with high/ultra settings with a single 970, that's just me

If you want to have the Geforce GTX on your card lit up white, rather than green, there are probably some guides, and I've seen a build on here a few days ago where someone did this by just filing off the green part of the logo and it looks great!
