If I buy the full version of Windows 10, would I be able to upgrade to a new version of Windows when it comes out?

if you buy windows 10, you'll receive all updates for windows 10 (Until they stop making them). you will be able to upgrade to a newer version of windows when it launches.

Also, if I upgrade in the future, would I be able to keep the new version of Windows or would I have to buy a new full version of Windows?

You would need to buy the newer version, it's like if you had a windows 7 machine, you needed to buy windows 8.

From my understanding, Microsoft wants to make windows become more of a service than a product, but I don't know any specifics in relation to this.

Something that I find helpful, is keeping a notepad, could be physical or digital, and just write down your thoughts, literally about anything, express your anger, your sadness even your happiness on the pages, it helps keep a piece of you, when everything around you seems like it's falling apart.

I've thought about making an entire topic on the actual costs of game development because so many people I've seen are always "We paid 60$, give us everything, we bought the product", the kind of mentality that is incongruent with game development costs (From what I've seen), I probably will make a topic on it, it'll take time (If I'm gonna make a topic on actual facts and figures, I damn well better get it right). I guess I'm just rambling on my own topic now, but man this is such a divisive topic, when it really shouldn't be, at least when it comes to fair implementations of extra content.

All I can say is that micro-transactions are almost always a bad thing.

Why do you think that is? Is it that it's small pieces of content or is it just the idea that we shouldn't have to pay for extra things?

Are all friends lists, achievements and anything else launcher related tied to Uplay?

So, if you buy a game on steam, that is a Ubisoft game it'll require uplay, in regards to achievements, they're through Uplay (I own For Honor on steam, and there's no steam achievements, only Uplay ones) In regards to friends lists, they stay on their respective platform. So if you own a ubisoft game on steam, it'll launch on steam (By opening uplay) and on steam it will show you playing that game, same as with uplay.

Hey!

Don't worry about your build not being the fastest or the best, nobody is gonna care except you. Now, should u buy the 2200g with a dedicated GPU? There's no reason not to really, unless you could grab that 1600, if anything does happen to ur 970, you have a backup.

8gb of ram, is fine for a budget build, don't worry about people saying get 16gb. You got a good ram speed for ryzen, so that's a plus!

Spending the least amount on a case is fine, just know that cheap cases aren't the friendliest, but you'll only be doing the installation once hopefully

Power supplies, is where you don't want to cheap out, you could grab this corsair unit, it's only 450w but it's enough for your build, though I'd upgrade it before getting beefier hardware. It's not a bad unit from what I hear, they've gotten better.

but I recently got a 720p monitor that functions fine for free. My question is, should I buy my pc only with the ****** monitor as a placeholder to run games or should I wait to buy the good monitor as well as saving more money?

Well, you're gonna have to make this decision on your own unfortunately. If you're okay playing games at 720p and don't wanna wait (A plus is that games will run better at a lower resolution as well!) then go for it. If you're okay with waiting, then you'll be rewarded with a better monitor and more money to spend. It's really up to you.

Will my build hold out against esports titles at 75fps low to medium settings?

"esports" titles like League of legends and CS:GO? Then yeah, easily don't even need to worry.

No harm done, I get that people's situations aren't so straightforward, and I totally understand that it's not cheap for everybody, It's just my opinion that big companies like Microsoft, have done the research and have figured out a price that works as a whole, maybe not for some people, but on a whole it's priced fair.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Can i survive without leaving my Windows 7?"

Yeah, I feel like everything i say should have the disclaimer, that my comments are in the general sense, and I'm not commenting on somebodies personal situation.

I'm sure, wether my financial position is good or bad or that you are affected by it or not, a person can have an opinion about it. Even if you don't need such product, you can criticise it's price for being high.

Yes... Which Idk if you read it fully, but my comment clearly says it's okay to not like the price of windows.

I know, there are many costs involved in creating it and there's a lot of people working on it with many specialists, but still.... too much.

Right my point was, why is it too much? and why what ever number you come to which you'd be happy paying, should matter in a global context in selling a product. Operating systems used to cost thousands of dollars, as did PCs, they're both dramatically cheaper than ever before. So why is it not cheap enough? My point was any number that you, or I come to, could only be arbitrary.

Ah, another thing (and don't get it mistaken). I don't support theft or slavery work. I'm certainly against people robbing (but with your example of robbing food, it's another context, it's just not simply theft, but it's a question of misery and survival, which many of those people living on such misery, didn't have a choice or any oportunity, but that's just an complex subject abouth ethics) or selling stuff with those low prices, that are supported with human slavery.

Yeah again... I made a point to say "Not saying you're going to steal or you're okay with stealing it's just a general statement to people who have the mindset you talked about"

I don't support these kind of activities, i always worked hard, saved money (that's what made me to buy my PC build parts) and try to be honest.

Okay? My statement isn't a statement on you, it's just me asking some questions.

I don't understand, why did you bring up that to the table or what do you think that i am... Don't you dare to compare to such corrupt practices... No one asked for the extremely cheaper prices or the pirated versions of it.

You... You brought up people buying grey market keys and pirating it.

"What you will end up with, is facing a bunch of people buying W10 from third party stores (with much and much lower prices) or even people having a pirated version W10."

The same goes for companies that are charging more for their products than what they really would be valued... It's a legal theft (to put in some nice words), but not great for the consumers in my point of view.

No it's not "legal theft" in any sense of the word. Just because a company sells its product/service at a price you don't like, it doesn't mean they're trying to **** you.

MS needs competition in this matter. Always charging more than the products actually are valuable.

Yeah right, Value, is different for everybody, which as I said, is why any number we assign as "reasonable" is arbitrary.

Of course, me, can't use any more OS besides windows, so i'm kinda screwed on it. But what i don't want of MS is to be another Apple.

Well, you could use Linux? And if the reason you can't use Linux is because windows offers something Linux doesn't have, then that to me obviously adds value to windows.

100 $ or € would be the maximum price to them come up with.

yes but based on what? or the number you suggest is just arbitrary because in your current financial situation you feel comfortable paying $100, which I'm certainly not ragging on, it's just arbitrarily assigning value based on personal situations obviously doesn't fit in a global sense.

Of course, creating Windows 10 wasn't an easy task for Microsoft, it was time consuming and maybe really expensive to come up with.

Well, it probably was, but even if it wasn't, and it was the easiest thing in the world, it's still their IP and their creation.

We (consumers) always would love to have the OS from the creator itself, but if it's price was a little lower and more accessible to the public in general.

Well then why not give it away for free? (Kinda like how they did, though that was obviously about market penetration, rather than profitability). This is my side, what's cheaper? $10? Okay why $10? Why not $25? How about $30? Why $40 and not $50? It's all arbitrary when we consumers say "I want this product cheaper!" and in all fairness, it's not like consumers have the market research/testability to determine a "fair" price like the corporations certainly do, so it makes sense we assign a value based upon our own situations, and at the most we could attribute value based upon previous dealings (Which, I don't believe is inherently better, but it does show prior research at the least) but it's not a reliable system in determining price structure, my own personal financial situation, whether I'm poor or rich, should have no bearing on the market price of a product, because not only is in impractical (How would you even have the knowledge of everybody's financial situation, and if set by user, richer people could get it cheaper and game the system) but it's also not consumer friendly, as much as we all believe that cheaper prices are best for consumers we know full well that they're not (Considering products need to be made, even digital products need to be coded/programmed for, and peoples time has value, specific equipment has value, land has value, so many things we don't think about that goes into product design/manufacturing has value) and it's not possible to achieve cheaper pricing without devaluing humans or devaluing processes (Like programming, or coding, Which is exactly what we see in the clothing industry, ever wonder why you can buy 10$ shoes? because there are human slaves making them).

What you will end up with, is facing a bunch of people buying W10 from third party stores (with much and much lower prices) or even people having a pirated version W10

Yes, you will, and that's not the fault of the creator, we have people who can't afford basic items like food in this world, do they all steal? No. When they do steal do we blame the bakeries because they're charging 3$ for the bread? No. We blame the person who stole, and we can argue about the ethical nature of stealing for survival, sure, but regardless of if we believe they should do what they can to survive, they're still responsible for actually doing the crime.

This is the same here, except even less important because it's a computer operating system not bread. If people don't like the price of windows, it's not an excuse to steal windows, it's also not an excuse to buy it on the cheap from a location that won't give any of the money to its rightful owners. Whether or not you personally will steal it or buy it from a grey-market doesn't really matter it's your own personal choice, but you can't expect companies to cater to people like that.

If the price isn't appealing, what's the point of all the work to create the OS then?

Because it provides a necessary function to hundreds of millions of consumers world wide? The price isn't appealing to you, and maybe you could find 10,000 other people who all agree with you, hell you could find one million people who all agree with you, you're still just a fraction of Microsoft consumers, it would make zero sense for Microsoft to cater to a demographic which is perfectly willing to steal its products, the moment they don't get what they want. (Not saying you're going to steal or you're okay with stealing it's just a general statement to people who have the mindset you talked about)

Look, I get that 130$ or whatever your regional equivalent is, can be expensive, I get it's a lot easier to justify, paying the 10% from a key reseller because "it's just software, they have an infinite supply". I understand that completely, but you can't expect a company to bend to your demands, considering you're not even willing to pay them for the product they're providing. We can argue about the "value" of windows, but the fact is, it provides as I said earlier, hundreds of millions of people, the ability to use their computers, sure other operating systems exist, but clearly there's a reason for Windows market dominance.

Windows might not have value to you, or perhaps it does but not enough to justify the money, which is absolutely okay but that ain't any reason to steal it. If you genuinely believe Microsoft is charging too much for windows, you know what the best thing to do is as consumer? Use their competitor. If MS sees decreasing market share, they'll be willing to make concessions, but for as long as you pirate it or buy from an unauthorised 3rd party, your voice ain't gonna be very loud.

Microsoft is asking to much for a windows 10.

What would be a price that you think is fair for Microsoft to charge? I've been a staunch defender of MS charging over 100$ for their OS and I always like to hear opinions of those I disagree with. It helps me evolve my opinion and I'd love if you could detail what price is fair, and perhaps why you believe $100+ isn't fair?

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Help with new GPU and PSU for The Witcher 3"

  • 1 point

Hello!

The Witcher 3? Are we talking 1080p60? Or a lower res/framerate?

Another poster suggested a full system upgrade, which I'd be inclined to agree with. You're running old hardware, and you would like to run a fairly modern game, something's gonna give.

In regards to upgrading your GPU/PSU,

My PC doesn't have a 6-pin connector. So, I can't upgrade my Power Supply into one that does.

This.. Doesn't make any sense to me, your GPU might not require a 6-pin and your PSU might not even include PCI-E cables, but that doesn't mean your PC can't have them. If you upgrade your PSU to one that has PCI-E cables (6-pin/8-pin) then your computer has 6-pin connectors (As those connectors are from the PSU). Now with that upgraded PSU, you can buy a GPU that also needs a 6-pin/8-pin connector (because now your PSU has the connector, your new GPU can accept it) instead of the 730 you have now which just draws from the slot.

Now depending on your budget we can talk about upgrading your whole system (Witcher 3 needs a a pretty good CPU) but if you're only talking about your GPU/PSU, I'd recommend a couple 50$ PSUs this Corsair one and this Seasonic one.

In terms of GPUs I'd recommend an RX 570 for AMD or a Gtx 1050ti for Nvidia, both are fairly inexpensive. Buying a 570 and one of the PSUs I listed, would set you back around $200, so it's a small investment for some pretty beefy gains, I hesitate to recommend spending more than that on this system unless you intend to upgrade everything, because the higher you go, to less value you'll get out of the more expensive GPUs.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Epic Games Store vs. Steam"

Do you believe Steam matching Epic's revenue share with the developers would end this whole fiasco?

From my perspective, it wouldn't, (Now, this isn't to your question, but it could be argued, that steam has tried this, with larger publishers, if a title generated $50m+ the pubs would receive an 80% take, compared to steams 70%, still not 88% like EPIC, but it's a larger percentage).

I say this because, steam could match epics revenue share (I don't know if they would, considering Valve makes a **** ton of money with their 30% and some bad PR means nothing to their bottom line, especially when most gamers are mad at EPIC and not valve), but EPIC could still buy exclusivity deals, negating the revenue split steam would offer anyway.

Pubs would launch on the epic store receiving an 88% cut (Along with whatever they were paid for exclusivity) and then launch after the exclusivity for that same 88% on steam. For the players, it would be exactly the same as it is now except the publishers would make more money (Which is a good thing). Steam could, add stipulations that their 88% is predicated on their own exclusivity, which would also solve absolutely nothing.

From my perspective, what EPIC is doing is a good thing, that will bring competition (exclusivity, does not inherently negate competition). This will hopefully spur valve to reinvest into the PC space, and allow publishers and developers the freedom of choice, without a financial penalty (because let's face it, that's whats happening now, if publishers choose steam, they're losing revenue per unit, compared to EPIC) and for there to be little penalty to the player (Despite, me personally believing there already is no penalty but i understand that not using your favourite store could count as a penalty)

I think you interpreted my post as a rant as to why I hate the Epic Games Store. Let me make it clear that I DON'T hate it, and this is NOT a rant. I simply stated why I LOVE Steam. That's it.

My post wasn't so much directed at you, I've just seen a lot of discussion around this topic is all.

but I think people are more mad at the publishers than the developers for making the last-minute decision to switch platforms (e.g. Metro: Exodus)

Right, and if that was the only time that people were mad at the pubs/devs it would make some sense, but let's face it.. It's not. BL3 people are mad, the outer world people are mad, and a bunch of indie titles, people are mad because they're exclusive, not because of a switch (because there wasn't one).

But, I disagree that the "excuse" of only wanting to have one download launcher "sailed a long time ago." That excuse still lingers around because... well... it's the main reason why I don't download other launchers.

Then I guess you're one of the very few, that's not played a ubisoft game or an EA game (After origin) or a blizzard game on PC, or one of the countless other launchers that are required these days. The fact is, whilst yes, there are people who fit that category, it's a minority.

And, I never did complain about having to wait an amount of time for an exclusive to come to Steam; I'm a patient person to can wait as long as he needs to for something he wants.

yeah, again my post is kinda generalised, it wasn't necessarily directed at you

If the "ship has sailed a long time ago," then.., well...I'm on that ship

And this is fine, absolutely fine, if you don't like something you're absolutely afforded the right to not participate, it just when it comes to complaining about it (generalised statement, not directed at you), there's no real basis except a personal preference, which once again, is totally fine but when people use it as an excuse to just pirate the game, then it's like.. Well hold on that's ridiculous (Once again, generalised statement based on comments I've seen, not specifically you.

Neither? I mean they're literally just storefronts to buy a game. I don't have a particular preference which grocer i go to so i don't care about which store i buy from, as long as they have the game I want.

The "controversy" is honestly ridiculous, I know this has been said countless times but the fact is, the only reason that epic has these exclusivities is a monetary problem, and that's not EPICs fault.. It's Valves. They've become complacent because there was no competitor, now there is one that offers a better deal for the devs, no **** they're gonna pick the better deal. We shouldn't punish developers for trying to make more money (They literally have to, in order to keep making games we love).

I've heard about the whole "chinese influence" because of tencents stock in the company, I don't know if this is a serious complaint (Considering Tencent has a large holding percentage in a lot of video game companies, including PoE developer Grinding Gear Games, and owning RIOT). But if this is a complaint that you hold serious, then you shouldn't play any game in which they have a stake, if it truly concerns you. (It's been stated a bunch by Tim Sweeney, that they have little control over creative decisions).

In regards to EPICs store missing features? yeah, this is something they should improve. To truly be competitive with steam they'll need the same features (though, it could be argued that by, purchasing exclusivity, they won't need to upgrade the client from a commercial perspective)

Now the whole "I want one store only! i don't want to download multiple launchers!" yeah that ship sailed a long time ago, like this argument is crazy, it's literally a free download to play the game, it's not the same as console exclusivity at all. We do it to play blizzard games, we do it to play EA games, we do it to play Ubisoft games, and we do it for a bunch of other games that aren't on steam, like come on. This argument these days makes no sense.

If you're not interested in using the EPIC store, that's totally okay, just wait 6/12 months for the game to be released on steam if you truly do not want to use another store, no this isn't a reason to pirate it, and no this isn't a reason to buy off of a grey market seller to "stick it to the devs".

I've kinda wondered about it, but I still do respect people who I wildly oppose (btw Alex is somebody I don't respect because he's said in official proceedings the **** he says, is nonsense, meaning he either doesn't believe what he says, or is willing to lie about it to get what he wants).

I respect that they say what they mean and how they feel, even if what they say could ruin them... To me there's some admiration in that quality (of standing and sticking up for what you believe, not whatever the belief is), now obviously that doesn't translate to agreement or hell even acceptance to the actual belief.

-edit

I had an extra though I felt like i should edit in.

Maybe I'm wrong on this position but for me, if i respect people i like because they stick to their principles. I have to have respect for that same position if it's someone I don't like, otherwise I don't really have that respect.

Did you respect him before appearing on Ben Shapiro or because he appeared on Ben Shapiro? I ask because I've noticed a lot of "right wingers" respecting him because he had a discussion with Ben.

Who do I respect on the opposite side? I.. Don't know really because I don't even feel like I'm on a side, i have views on things that conflict. I'm very "socialist" when it comes to government (I like government in our education system and healthcare for example) but I guess I'm conservative on the societal aspect.

So I respect Ben because whilst I don't agree with things he says (though I agree on some things) I can respect somebody who sticks to his guns on issues and truly believes what they say. (though in my honest opinion, on certain topics such as healthcare, he can be misleading, but i wouldn't say he outright lies).

  • 1 point

Please... Just post 1 comment with all your questions, instead of 4

in regards to all your question.

so how we know what mobos has this?

If you use PcPP you can search motherboards by their sockets. So if you click on where the motherboards are on this website on the right hand side will be a bunch of attributes (Colour, manufacturer, rating, seller etc..). One of those attributes will be socket, just select AM4 (for Ryzen chips) and look down the list. You can also narrow your search by selecting the chipset also on the right hand side (In this case b350/b450)

why is this cos of the mobo or cpu?

Ryzen 2nd gen came out after the 3xx series of boards, so for the 3xx series of boards to work with the new chips you'll need to update the boards BIOS. To do this you'll need a 1st gen ryzen chip to update, which is why I recommend just buying the newer 4xx series boards.

Stock cooling, is the included CPU cooling unit that comes with your CPU, not every CPU comes with one (In which case the retailer will let you know), but both the 2200g and the 2400g do.

Overclocking is the process of increasing the electrical power your CPU uses to exert more performance, such as changing the clock speed to make the CPU faster, in a general sense. With this increase of energy comes an increase of power consumption and heat, which is why it's not recommended to overclock with stock cooling as the stock cooling is designed around what the manufacturer has set for the CPU, overclocking can hurt your CPU but it can be used to squeeze some extra performance.

CPU Cores are the physical processing units within the CPU, so with both the 2200g and the 2400g, your CPU has 4 cores. You might also notice with the 2400g that it has 4C/8T with the T=threads. Those threads are simply those 4 cores being able to do two things simultaneously (AMD calls this simultaneous multi-threading, Intel calls it Hyper-threading).

someone would have to ask clarifying and specific questions to me on the needs

Uh no, you'd need to tell us what you need this for, we can't guess at what you'd potentially use this for, you'd need to tell us. When I say what do you need this for i'm talking programs/expectations. You looking to play video games? What kind of settings you want to play at, what games we talking about? You looking at just simple word processing? or perhaps you just want to use the machine to watch YT videos, there's an innumerable amount of possibility so you'd need to tell us.

Hello!

It would be beneficial if you put all your questions into one post instead of multiple, even if you're asking multiple questions because it allows those who seek to help know all the information beforehand, without having to go through each post you've made.

1) could you link the best itx based on these needs that could be gotten on amazon or a nearby major store

Not really, the only "needs" you listed are 16-32gb of ram, which doesn't narrow the board selection down at all. I have no idea what features you'd want on your board (Fan headers, WiFi, m.2 slots, sata ports etc...) so I am unable to show you the "best" board. It's possible to just pick the most expensive one but I would have no idea if you'd need all the features and therefore buying the most expensive might just waste you money.

2) & could you link one atx based on these needs that could be gotten on amazon or a nearby major store

Same issues with ITX boards.

cos ppl have said that itx in the past was bad, heat problems, but this cpu wont have heat problems yea?

If you mean, would the stock cooling be adequate for your cpu then the answer is yes, if you have no intention of overclocking.

possibly 2400g if that would matter to the mobo pick (tho i dunno))

Between the 2200g and the 2400g? No the mobo choice would not matter as they are the same system architecture and are designed for the same boards.

someone also said the middle of 'Ryzen 3 - Ryzen 7', which was ' i5 or Ryzen 5 series ' but i dont think this would be needed or matter (at least near term)

Well... what is needed, you've not said anything about what you intend to use the cpu for, so perhaps a ryzen 5 would be better, does your use case require more cores? If so then yes, getting a higher core count CPU would do better.

if i recall accurately, 2200g has a igpu

Yes both the 2200g and the 2400g have integrated graphics

for mobo, these are some options seen on the web in the past

If we make the assumption that you just want a barebones board, then grab any b450 board you like and use that, Ryzen platforms require AM4 socket motherboards. You could buy a b350 board however with 2nd gen Ryzen CPUs they'll require a BIOS update so it's best to buy a 4xx series board just to be on the safe side.

please just link the best mobo along with the evidence or reasons why it's the best option if you know about this as with the cpu pick, thanks

Well if you'd elaborate on what you need then we could start selecting boards.

You don't buy anything from this site...

It's simply a comparative website designed to allow you to shop around for the best pricing across all the different listed retailers. You will still need to go to said retailer and purchase the components from them, PcPP handles zero transactions in relation to the components listed on this site.

In regards to purchasing a prebuilt, I could just tell you to build your own but, I don't know your situation so I'll recommend a service like NZXT's BLD, it's a great service to have a computer professionally built for a fairly competitive price. You simply choose the games you wanna play/stream, how much you'd wanna pay and if you'd prefer Intel/AMD and will configure a pc for you. You may also customise it if you don't like their recommendation within the BLD service. The only "negative" is you're locked to NZXT cases.

Otherwise you can go to any boutique retailers website and use their services, you'll pay a premium but perhaps that's worth it to you.

Also if a girl notes a deep voice of mines could it mean interest?

Uh......... What

My voice can be deep at times and kinda squeaky at others (well not extremely). I don't even try to change it.

Are you talking about your voice "cracking" or do you just seem to notice, fluctuations in pitch?

When your voice increases in pitch, are you feeling emotional/stressed at those times? because these can cause some tension within your larynx.

There could be a medical condition involved (though... If it's not a constant issue, I can't imagine it would be one of these but I'm not an ENT physician)

It could also be hormonal, while yes it's correct puberty and the associated changes that come with it (in this case, the enlargement of the larynx) stop at around 18 (though this changes, depending on when you first hit puberty), such changes can come late.

I think though, regardless of everything, unless it's a medical issue, you shouldn't be concerned whatsoever

No.

This system of install straight to PC without third party platforms died a very long time ago, The only company I know that still tries with this stuff is GoG.

You'll need steam and Uplay for the division, and you'll need steam for RE2.

Sure it is. I don't think one needs to be diplomatic about this detail. You either pay the current price for the product from a legitimate retail source, you wait for a sale to pay less, or you gamble on sketchy back channels that will occasionally screw you. Those are the choices.

I agree, however when I say it's unrealistic of me to have that outlook, I'm saying people will do this regardless of what anyone says so it's better to consider that instead of just pushing it aside and saying 'NO! Nobody buys grey markets and that's final!' because it's not like that.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with the sentiment, though I agree with the observation. I think it's insane that, just because a video game isn't on the platform you enjoy using, that you then believe you should be able to steal it. (You, meaning people in general not you directly).

I get, EPIC store is not as feature rich as steam is now.. But steam has had over a decade to get there, granted, making something now, should include all up to date features but I'd imagine given time, EPIC store will receive similar features, we have to remember that it's still early days.

I get that people would rather have their game library consolidated but man that ship sailed ******* years ago, once publishers realised they could cut out the middle man and earn more profit selling through themselves, the prospect of having all of your games in one collection was gone. Now, I could see an argument for steam integration like how Uplay does it, but I don't know enough about how that functions in the back-end to say it's something possible.

However none of these reasons bring any justification to steal.. I mean this "exclusivity" BS we're talking about is literally just a few clicks extra, unlike PS/XBOX exclusives were you'd need to spend another $200-$300 just to enjoy a game, we're talking about a little download.

Even if we were talking about paying more to get these exclusives, say, hypothetically epic store cost money to access. It's still not justification to steal it. I have an analogy, I assume it applies to grocery stores in other parts of the world but I don't know, so I'm gonna use aus stores. We have two big supermarket chains, Coles and Woolworths. These two carry both non-exclusive and exclusive food (Such as the chef Jamie Oliver creating exclusive products for Woolworths and both chains having their own in-house brands), there's no logical reasoning in which stealing from Woolworths, because they have exclusive products makes any objective sense. Does it mean, you may have to drive to another store to get this specific item you enjoy? Yes it does, but I've never heard anybody suggest that be a reason to steal from them. It's only in the video gaming realm that stuff like this exists.

I understand that digital goods are not the same as physical items, but the principle is the same.

UPDATE!!!

Kim Foxx, has stated that her office used the term "recuse" in a colloquial sense and not in the legal sense. Meaning her office was still involved but she personally wasn't. The NDAA have stated that when chief prosecutors recuse themselves it should apply to the WHOLE office and not just the person.

Wish/./com

It's an online marketplace filled with cheap knockoffs made with cheap labour. They mislead people about the "savings" you get, and are all around trash.

Don't ever buy from these people because you're paying into a business that allows such garbage to pollute this planet.

It's not a "scam" in the sense that you do receive items (though there have been allegations to the contrary). It's just that the items you do receive mainly come from china, and have been assembled/made using cheap labour (allegations of child labour, though unsubstantiated from what I could tell). The "savings" is absolutely ******** and is straight up fraud. On almost all of their items, the price they state as "normal/retail" is rarely if ever the actual standard retail pricing. Your example is evidence of such deception. There's also many other examples of such deception, a cursory google search, shows all "trust/review" websites rate WISH very low (User submitted)

The cost of doing business is not just in the purchasing of products from this company but also the security in which you give up. Registering and buying products from WISH requires the standard fare of information like other retailers, the problem is, trusting such a shoddy company with your information is about as close as you can get to just giving away all your details.

Don't buy from them, buy from reputable retailers, or if cash is tight, buy 2nd hand in person. Don't use WISH.

I DO want to do a legit Microsoft verifiable download purchase.

Then buy it directly from MS if you want to be sure.

In the past I just bought the disk from Microsoft. Now it seems there are other options Paul

There are other "options" if you're okay with buying from a key reseller that's not "legit Microsoft verifiable download purchase."

You can buy windows from places like amazon and newegg but they'd be the same price as from MS so it's easier to just buy from MS.

Dude...

Game companies have become more greedy, we went from $20aud games which was a great price for any game to $80AUD ripoffs(coughsCall Of Duty), and DLC does not contain much to justify their cost.

Never was a thing.. At all

Crime all across the globe has increased, not decreased, especially in America of all places.

Poverty has not reduced, especially in India.

Homlessnes has not reduced, especially in America.

Gun control has not got good enough across the globe, especially in America.

Yeah.. Okay there's bad **** happening in the world, It's an unfortunate truth but we have to accept we can't change everything and we can't save everybody

Politics is still a thing, and even worse they still lie, cheat and steal, and we have not done anything to put an permanant end to that.

Yep, politicians tend to lie, but they also allow countries to run, they're needed, and most of the time, they are genuinely helping their communities

Money still exists and continues to corrupt those who constantly want more, when money should have never existed in the first place.

Not really going to get into the history of commerce but the evolution to a universal system that governs transactions is one of our greatest inventions

Space based endeavours have reduced DRAMATICALLY

I don't think that's true....

No one is permanantly abandoning the Enviromentally damaging Internal Combustion Engine for a much more Enviroment friendly Fully Electric Vehicle.

Well because if you eliminate something without a suitable replacement all you do is cause much more damage, we don't have a suitable replacement across the globe, yes electric cars are going that way but they're not at the point where it can 100% replace the cars of yesteryear

Humans are not focusing on perfection when thats exactly what our focus SHOULD be on.

That's... Dangerous, because if you focus on perfection two things could happen, either your view becomes so warped and detached that everybody else is lesser or you reach a point where you come to the ultimate conclusion that what you're doing is impossible and you sink into a depressive state

I also hate society because it seems like no one takes my side, always seeming to be against me, me a 25 year old Autistic Australian who see’s the future, and wants to bring the future to tomorrow.

Well, if you feel that way perhaps it's time to look at what your side is and perhaps re-evaluate

In relationships, not just mine, but in others, there is less trust, communication, understanding, loyalty, instead there is more lies, cheating, miscommunication or no communication, girls are becoming more warped by this whole “All men can’t be trusted to be in a stable relationship with me” mentality, and men think they can have 1 gf and half a dozen or whatever fuckbuddies, you people are gigantic idiots, both genders.

Yeah okay people can be ****** sure.. But like this is life, you learn and grow because of ****** people, that doesn't make what they do any less hurtful but they're unavoidable and those crappy people make the good people much more valued

MEMES and STEREOTYPES, those should have died before they got established, because they do NO GOOD, especialy for our youth.

Eh I mean if it brings people enjoyment and doesn't hurt anybody I don't think you should care too much.

a time known as the 80’s and 90’s when pop music did not suck, games were GAMEPLAY FIRST, STORY LAST, and Homosexuality was massively frowned upon to such a point many considered it sickening and wrong, which even to this day it still is.

You're 25... You didn't experience either, so I don't understand how you can say that it was a better time. From an objective standpoint of living standards, education, healthcare and economical problems.. We're much better off

Homosexuality was massively frowned upon to such a point many considered it sickening and wrong, which even to this day it still is.

This can be your opinion but you have to understand that people will not like this... I find it ridiculous that you're upset that nobody takes your side when you say such things, As I've told you before I don't intend to judge you because of this view but to be clear, you're wrong in the most objective way possible, and It's troubling that you still believe this

Relisious and Spiritual people seem to still hold on to this “possibility” that when they die, they will go to heaven, or that “god” exists, when there is 0% scientific proof that “god” exists, religion should never have existed until scientific proof gave rise to a “high diety” actually existing(Your, Born, You Live, You Die, thats it).

Okay well we pretty much know that people don't choose to be homosexual and that there are biological factors at play.... You're being the exact thing you say you're against

Well yeah as I said, just choose the one you think you'll enjoy, when it comes to this stuff, besides the technical issues, no one else can tell you if it's something you'll like, Every "hardcore" gamer might be hating on Anthem and EA but if Anthem looks like something you'll enjoy, just get Anthem.

There's a way you can sorta have both, if you got Metro, for free but also got Origin premier, you can play Anthem for a month for just I think it's like 20$ and if you enjoy it, well then you can buy it, and if you don't well you're lucky you grabbed Metro

but it's up to you

Hmm

A broken, garbage piece of ****, that literally bricks consoles and has nothing at all going for it...

Or

A highly reviewed survival shooter that looks and plays amazingly..

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

in all seriousness, they're so different that you should pick whichever game you'd enjoy more, sure Anthem is buggy and not well liked, but if you like looter shooters, then Anthem is the one to get, because as much **** as it gets from gamers it's still a decent game that you'd enjoy with friends, It's broken but you might like it.

Same with Metro, I mean they're so wildly different it's not really possible to compare them, just get whichever one you think you'd spend more time with.
