I took the noisy one out
Thanks! I love that color combo :)
Thanks. Well, I can hear some grinding noise occasionally from one of these Enermax fans...
I have :
X62 with 2x140mm fans mounted in front
1x120mm Enermax TB RGB fan on the back
1x120mm Enermax TB RGB fan up top
and I want to add one more 120mm Enermax TB RGB fan up top but want to keep my dust from coming into the case. I just fear that I will create negative air pressure where more air is coming out than it;s coming in resulting in more dust build up inside the case.
Maybe I can dial up rpm of my x62 140mm fans in front so that more air comes in?
I'm allergic to dust and I want to keep it as clean and dust free as possible and dust free case also looks great too.
OK. So, the choice is basically narrowed down to :
Yeah, that's what I thought too. So basically a 650W unit would be enough for 8700K and GTX1080 even considering overclocking and I could comfortably go to Focus Plus Gold 650W but since the price difference is only 4€ I could easily go with 750W unit. Damn I've over complicated all this :)
I'm debating between these: Focus Plus Gold 750W, Focus Plus Platinum 750W and Corsair RM750x. I've gave up on EVGA units because many people told me that those can get pretty loud...
Thanks! I will be using 8700K with GTX1080 and I plan to overclock. I will do gaming and a little bit of rendering.
How's this case handles dust? Is it visible on the glass?
I like both very much. Both cases look simply gorgeous but on Phanteks one it seems that top portion is a bit restrictive...
What about dust build up?
Wonderful looking build :)
I must ask, since your front fans are pushing hot air into this case, through radiator, what are your temps? What fans configuration are you using to keep dust out?
Great looking build! I'm curious about temps in this case since your H100i is blowing a lot of hot air through radiator into the case... Can you share some info on that topic please?
a m a z i n g !
Great build! Do you have problems with dust and temps inside this case? What's your case fans configuration? Thanks
Thanks! :) What about airflow and temps overall>?
How would you rate this case vs Phanteks Evolv TG?
Great looking setup and superb components inside! Well done!
I already have the same case (the most beautiful pc case I've ever seen) but have concerns about dust build up and temps...
Can you please share your CPU and GPU temps? Idle? Load?
I guess you went with simple "carboard solution for upper fan hole" to block hot air circulation up top?
Very nice CNC mod on that Evolv case! Nice job! I wonder what are temp differences with that case wihtout CNC work and with CNC work... Also, on photo 17 : Is that factory dust mesh or custom?
I would love to see some gaming and multuitasking benchmarks with GTX1080 and Ultrawide 3440x1440 100Hz monitor...
Thanks for answering. So, Supernova G3 is not that loud as people are saying?
No 144Hz goals for me, well not at this moment. All games running great on this monitor so far, even in flick situations in games like BF... I saw somewhere that gaming with Ryzen CPU is definitely smoother than 7700K, a lot less hickups and stuttering. Can someone confirm this?
So R5 1600X is not so suitable for 3440x1440 with GTX1080?
Maybe you should consider making all your fans as intake except that rear one, that one should stay as exhaust.
Can you share your CPU/GPU temps and your case fans airflow config? Thanks!
This is one of the best build descriptions ever! So honest and so colorful :) Very nice!
And of course, this build is fantastic! Congratulations my friend!
Yeah , I know but it will not look so clean :) It's covering top of mobo and nearly half of RAM.
Ok but as far as I know EKWB released fixed version 1.1 of Predator 240.
I'm more worried about those GPU temps when AIO rad is placed on front as intake and for positive air pressure I must keep more intake than exhaust...
Thanks for reply!
I'm just afraid of Corsair and other Asetek units, heard many bad thing about their pumps and leaks... I will have a pretty expensive system and I would be super mad if any of those AIO leak on my components... Because of all that I've taken EKWB Predator 240 into account, premium quality parts from a company that only makes liquid cooling components. Swiftech is out of stock here in Europe and besides that I've heard a numerous reports of leaking with their new units H240 X2 Prestige....
Thanks! Yeah, that would be great, I'm really interested in boot times for this 950 Pro drive. You can control your pump and fans through Corsair Link software I think.
Great build! Just get some braided cables and you're good to go to an exhibition :) A few questions :
Very nice setup you got there!
Can you tell me more about your fans config.? How are the GPU temps considering your AIO is set as intake in the front?
Great build and that Triton looks fantastic! Is that v1 or v2 version ? I've heard numerous complains about this AIO. Can you share your experience? Thanks!
So why spending more money eh? :) It' pretty hard to chose a motherboard these days... I guess that these Maximus VIII motherboards don't support Thunderbolt 3?
Hero Alpha also have RGB logo and aura capabilities
Great looking build! Congratulations!
Those are almost the same parts that I will use for my build, with the exception of : Evolv in silver, maybe Maximus VIII Formula and one 850 EVO 500GB SSD.
Now, I don't know how noise is affecting you but I presume by those Noctua fans that you want a quiet system. Can you share your opinion about the noise when the case is closed and while your PC is actually doing something (not in IDLE) Thanks! :)
It is possible for me to go SLI later
Good looking build! Congratz! Is it loud?
Excellent looking build! What about a overall noise from your case? Pump noise on that Corsair H110i ?
