What's wrong with the power supply?
I have almost the same specs as you and want to upgrade to that monitor. What games do you play and what fps do you get?
I want to get the same exact monitor (except in 27" form). What games do you play and what fps do you get?
The case in your pics looks different than the one listed
1070 SLI! You don't see that too often
did you have enough fan headers on the mb to power the case fan and the two 80mm ones?
Wow thats a lot of ram for that price point
Lol nice... it seems we have similar builds except your using a coffee-lake cpu.
The monitor probably won't stay that cheap
Ya... or like the case I use
What are all your monitors?
wait I said paid internships have wages ABOVE minimum wage in the US. Idk what you meant.
You might be confused. He wanted his build to be a PC that was sized like a console. I don't think his main goal was to make a PC that performed like a console.
People like you put me to shame lol. In my build, I just bought new parts at (usually) non-discounted rates and paid a ton. Much respect for being able to piece together a build like that for so cheap. I don't know what labor laws are like in the UK, but it seems odd that you're only paid £4 an hour. In the US, paid internships for college students are usually well above minimum wage.
It's fine. I saw your first version.
How did you rotate the nzxt logo on the pump?
First of all don't worry about the red and black theme. It is slick and most people (those who don't build PCs), will not know it is overused. Did your monitor come with any dead pixels? It is the cheapest 144hz monitor out there and people have complained about this and other quality issue before. Also make sure to take the sticker off your side panel lol.
You're right about the case but there is a cheaper version that does not include the rgb fans. HOWEVER, I just realized he actually used those fans in the first version of his build before he bought more nzxt fans. It makes sense now.
Very colorful and good components! I think you should have gotten a more "open" case with more glass to show off the rgb stuff. Did you pay full current price for the am and gpu?
Cool! It seems you wasted some money on the case because you didnt use the included fans but whatever. I'm curiouswhy you choose that cpu. Is it an old one that you reused for this build or did you choose it on purpose?
The case came with 4 120 mm rgb fans. Those are the ones you can see inside the main compartment. My radiator is 280mm so I needed 140mm fans for that. For that I bought the nzxt aer rgb fans and put them, and the radiator, in the front. I added another 120mm nzxt aer rgb in front because that was all that would fit and it matched the others. IN hindsight, I shouldve bought the case without the included fans (for cheaper), and then bought extra matching nzxt fans.
Updated Pics and more were added
I will ad more pics. This weekend I'm fixing the fan and radiator setup as well as putting in the nzxt aer rgb fans. Then I'll take more pics because that will be my true final build.
