Fun looking build, good job.
Love the back plate, great job overall.
Rigs and game room speak for themselves simply incredible but I also want to compliment you on the last picture showing the house and landscape looks like a great place to live. The stone chimney is great did it come like that or is that your handy work?
Love the color scheme (I also went orange and black). Over all very clean. Nice job. Well deserved.
Love the fact you got your son involved, did the same with mine. Great team red build & even better job on the custom paint.
If you mean the Corsair Vengeance K70 Wired Gaming I love it!!!!
simply beautiful. I love the outside shots, looks like you maintain your property as well as your PC. I tip my hat to you.
This is fantastic, should be the feature build for August!!
I downloaded the new bios on a flash. The motherboard has a dedicated usb for bios updates so all I had to do was plug it in and wait for the indicator light to flash that it was done. Very easy.
+1 for that fan mod, nice work.
Did you clean the surface first?
You mean to paint it? I didn't take the top off I taped off the rest of the unit and only left the top exposed for painting.
I just took the clip from the 212 fans off and put then on the new fans. The size are pretty much universal.
You can, for the look I was going for it wasn't needed.
Not to an extent that it is being recirculated into the system
No I didn't need to update the bios. Sorry about the delay in response I was out of town on business and didn't see the post.
It has been almost a year, pc is on 24/7 and no issues so far.....I better not have jinx myself!
Ha well i am...no JK Im not one to be sarcastic. At least not on purpose.
Yeah the caps lock was on and I didn't notice it until I was done. My bad.
Ok, I asking.
Compbargins has the EVGA going for $140.00 - It is a gaming system
Corsair CX 850W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
http://pcpartpicker.com/b/bw2RsY, if you like orange and black take a look at this one
I agree the water cooling loop really makes this think stand out, love it. Great job!!!!!!
Black with a touch of orange, perfect for the season. Great job, nice and clean and the carbon fiber is an awesome look. Love the use of Cougar fans.
Post some picks after you paint. I have seen the back plate and it looks sweet.
I have used AMD more than Intel so I know about the part and what they can do or not do and I like the price to performance of the 8350 (overclocked). However, like I said I never built an Intel system and want to so as soon as I save up I will start.
That is a nice clean build, the chrome pipe on the 270x look awsome.
All of the Fantastic 4 movies were not as good as they could have been. After watching the Avengers, Ironman and Thor there is no reason the Fantastic 4 should have been great. They have so much material to work with and the comics are awesome.
Yes, Bitfenix makes excellent products. My cables are the alchemy cables. Super Biiz has some in stock check them out. I like the fact they are magnetic but I went with the Hue because of the different lighting options like being able to dim or brighten.
I had the Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Dual-X Video Card, so I can't comment on the 4 gig version. However, the 270 was a great card but doesn't compare to 290 at least the 2gb version. As for paint it was Krylon high heat spray paint from Ace Hardware. Thanks for the nice words I really appreciate it.
I keep my Adata plugged in 24/7. Didn't know that about the SSD I will watch it. Wanted a Samsung but I was already over budget. Will upgrade eventually. Thanks
I haven't been impressed with any of the fantastic 4 movies which sucks because the comic is great and they could do so much with them.
It works really well.
I know, there were no orange AMD boards so I went black. Much more choice going Intel - next time (green & white)
Yes, the Hue comes with led strips that you stick around the inside of the case. The unit then has rgb switches that you can increase or decrease the intensity of the color to get what ever color mix you want. It also has different modes like pulse, blink, fade, ect.
Thanks, I have always wondered why GPU makers do not do something with the top like MSI did with the 980.
I painted them
that is a good idea
I have learned my lesson
Ha that is funny as hell, I will be throwing that out in conversation to see how many of my friends know what it means.
I wish Asus made a mobo that fit my color scheme because I love their boards. They both look great but that skylake build is out of this world, man I bet it screams. Nice job!!
Come on I can take it.
Do you have it posted I would like to see it.
I saw a guy make a wooden case. It looked great.
