Looking very clean, however these cables would really complement the build i'd say. check em out!
Cables used in build: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/3X4CmG
Greatest build ivé seen i long time, really nice work sir! If only the cable management cutout was positioned better the cables would look even better!
We need to see some pics of this, moneyshot looks very nice! +1
hey man, how tight was it fitting the STRIX 1080 in there? is the window bending or anything or is the clearance ok? :)
do you even minecraft @60fps? definately need more 1070s
very nicely built and good choice of components but i couldn't avoid imagining a white ASUS deluxe motherboard in this build. would look even greater!
*throwing money at the floor
oh yeah i can see that now, shame, maybe you could do some kind holes in the bottom shroud to manage them downwards ?
very nice build, although is that second gpu bending upwards? probably isn't good at all for the PCI-e slots or the card itself.
i you could qualify me as partially blind then! ^
I like the build, however. why didnt you go with an air 240. unless your gonna do SLI. it has better ventilation for the gpu (on the bottom) and has the harddrives concealed in the back compartment :)
hehe, glad to help and keep up the good work!
All the LEDs and hardware is flawless, a very good job done indeed. although i would recommend you http://www.ensourced.net/ cables, they are very well done and has amazing cable combs!
My build: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/3X4CmG
Great build but im suffering as much as that bottom card that's probably running out of air. #GPUlivesmatter
yeah yeah i know, so many tubes though ^
sick build but i can't help my eyes hurting cause that clutter of cables and tubezz #RIPinpeppironis
it does :) it's suppusedly going to be the fastest one out there aswell according to galax
You should definately get the GALAX 1080 HOF Card to match your build. 12/10 on that motherboard and sleeved cables :)! The HOF card even has a white PCB!
flawless lighting of the blocks and that motherboard, love the mix of blue and purple. well done mate.
if your planning on hefty OCs you should probably consider EVGA since theyre the only company that lets you overclock without voiding warranty i believe
I would wait til MSI/EVGA/Gigabyte/Asus etc have developed their own models of the 1080 before buying it, it might turn out that the founders edition/normal one is just a tiny taste of what other manufacturers can do with it.
You didnt mention whether you are waiting or not, therefore the statement :)
haha sure, just give me a couple hundred euros to go! :D
hehe thanks, if only i had thought of watercooling it at start ^
very well done, a nice upgrade to your first build :)
Actually the plan from the start was to anodize it in silver to match the dominator platinum ram sticks but the polished look matched the heatpipes a bit so :)
thanks man :) I initially wanted to go with black/silver only but i felt like i didnt want to mod and void warranty on components for over 2500 euros in my first build ^
thanks, at the moment this breaks around 85 fps in witcher and wild hunt on maxed in 1440p
very well done with the sleeved SATA cables for the SSD.
thanks man, yeah they really look good :)
my Dads business partner has a mechanical workshop with milling machines, lathes etc so i have them in handy, although this gpu support is made by hand entirely, no CAM involved. It's been lathed to get the right diameter, length aswell as drilling the screwhole in the bottom then flattened on one side in the milling machine then drilled for the holes of the support bars. Not sure if you could understand everything (google translate is involved) but thats the process of making it.
thanks man really appreciate it :)
it really is a good case :)
Well thank you very much :)
i think the same! and thanks! :)
haha you are all being confused because i swapped some pictures around ^
haha thanks man, more pics coming tomorrow! :)
haha every1 keep poking me for that lol, thanks anyway :)
haha it would cost me alot to make them ^ but thanks :)
will upload more pictures during the weekend and hopefully get to benchmark it aswell :)
thanks man i really put some work into it :)
my Top 980 goes up to 70 degrees during full load. bottom one stays at 55 ish.
I did have 2 fans mounted as pull on the H105 from the start, 2 more fans is more show then performance and the thing about having those extra fans is that it covers up cable clutter on the top aswell. And yes the top card goes on about 65-70 degrees during benchmarking, which i have taken notice of and been planning on a fan "bracket" for blowing some cooler air in between the GPU's. Thanks btw :)
thanks man! I did think about the colour spreading when putting together the parts and as you said i think i've found quite a good spread between the red, black and silver :)
I have no reason to tell you to put them back on ^
As @MuDuRkKiO quoted it's a GPU support stand i made myself cause the cards themselves were sagging way too much :)
ah thank you!
Thank you and i thought it would be a good idea :)
Thank you very much! :)
ah ok, saw this a couple months ago it looks pretty sick. im running 2way sli msi 980 4G. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/modded-krait-gtx970-msi-gaming,28569.html
Nice build , i would consider maybe getting some cable combs for that 24 pin and the 8-pins. may i ask why you went with that msi card though, the twinfrozr fan+heatsink is way more efficient then that one u got there for almost the same price :)
