From one freshman to another, how does one obtain enough funds to complete such a project? Great build, the gray peripherals, and orange RGB seem to go well together.
Nice Build! here are some suggestions:
Could of went with a NZXT H510 and save $30 with current prices
The Msi Evoke series runs a little hot so watch your thermals
Remember to set your XMP2 profiles to run your RAM @3200
Probably can overclock the 2700x to 4.2 and try lower voltages
Review your Adrenaline drivers
Nice seeing new people being introduced into the community!
I think so, I haven't had any issues yet.
Could of went with a unactivated windows and a Rx 5700
Not yet, but it doesnt show up in mystic light for me yet, not sure if its me or not. I havent had a crash yet though, which is good. It seems pretty solid overall.
Thanks! I wanted to go a little smaller but I didn't know how small. It works great!
Thanks for your input!!!!!!!
Yes, that includes taxes and shipping (usually free).
Thanks for your input! I was wondering if I should wait for the new ryzen line up, and I guess I will. Thanks!
PC maker: The last wood bender. ツ
Overall, looks pretty solid for your first build!
Does the GPU get good air?
Did they put the i9 in a box to prevent it from rolling away?
Thank you for the feedback!!! Ill make sure to fix the psu and Ill save up for a uphaul.
Can you say what the error message is please?
Does it say: Some Intel Z370 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Coffee Lake Refresh CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.
That means just might need to update the bios so the CPU and mobo can work together Im pretty sure.
Thank you for the suggestion!
Solved the problem: I had to take out the rx570 and put it back in. It is really heavy! Anyone know how to support it? I also pulled out and plugged in the 8pin pcie.
I recommend getting him a new GPU that doesn't get bottlenecked by the i3, maybe an RX570 or other budget graphics card.
Mainly depends on your specs and what fits your needs. I recommend MSI for the rx580.
Amazing work!! Keep it up! Its crazy to think that a computer website is drilling wells in developing countries for water for the locals!!!
Does anyone have a link to this video, please?
Edit: Did you also claim the mail-in rebate???
You could use windows without a key to save some money, and I assume you have an anti-static wristband? Good luck on your first build! Remember to organize the screws and to have the appropriate screwdriver bits.
Why when I am at school ;(
Maybe you should try a super-budget build under $600
If you get into the woodworking then ask friends and neighbors for power tools, Store rentals can be really expensive on some tools.
The Cable length is about 2 feet
Thanks, I am going to build my first PC after Christmas so should I use Ubuntu or windows without a key
