I'm actually person with the 670mini build - it fits in the case pretty easily.

I was just googling how to fly with this case and came across your build. Have you had any issues traveling with the case?

Yea that article had everyone looking at their specs when they arrived, but it looks like Valve changed their minds and sent everyone the same system.

Can't say either way, but everyone involved is pretty sure Valve won't ask for them back.

Yea this is just a proof of concept, other companies are rolling out different builds with different specs to fit different budgets.

Steam In-Home Streaming is being released soon, basically you stream it from your PC to the box.

I'm getting a 2nd HDD to dual boot windows tho.

Valve selected 300 people to beta test them, they paid for everything. I got a notice by email and shipping information a few days later.

Not right now, and I don't think they intend for it to replace Windows for everything, just gaming. It has a full Linux OS w/ desktop to work with but the system by default boots straight into steam.

No worries, internet points don't effect me. Just posted this to have ready once the changes are made. HDD arrives after X-Mas and I'll move from there.

Close: The boxes sent to journalists had Titans, so far every Beta Box of the 300 sent to real people have 780s.

(Source: I'm in the beta and we have a forum where we have been collecting this info)

Someone built it, and I'll share internals when I pop it to start changing stuff. Likely going to try swapping my other builds video card in and add HDD etc.. Sorry this build hurt you so much.

I understand that, but I am customizing it, so is this not appropriate?

SG05 only has room for a 10" video card, 770's are 10.5. I went with the 670mini because of the smaller footprint and better cooling. I get 100fps+ in everything I've played.

How limited? It's a small case so I wasn't really looking to OC that much. I've tried googling but can't find much info.

The 670 is actually the 670mini, pcpartpicker does not add that detail to the name. I picked it for its cooling and size/not having to worry about card length with the rad/fan installed.

Do you think this card will be a bottleneck?

I'm not planning on overclocking very much since it's such a small box, how will voltage lock effect OC?
