Got it! I just purchased Sapphire RX 570's (making 2 PCs) to run games with it. Thanks for the intel. (pun not intended) :)

Hey! Nice build; epic of you to build one for your brother. Quick question;

I am building a PC for my friend as a surprise for Christmas, with his parent's help. I am at a low budget but am most definitely going to use the i3-9100F... and as of now, no graphics card with it.

How well could the i3-9100 run games alone? I can't find much on youtube regarding it. You might have an idea.

Thanks!

Could have. Ryzen's in the lead now for sure on multitaskers.

I've just been a long term Intel fan as it has been in all of my past PCs and hasn't failed me or I haven't had issues.

Not doing that much multitasking besides a few background tabs and a game. About it; I think I'll be fine.

I do not. I am not interested or really care. As long as my PC doesn't crash I'm good. I play the games, don't benchmark or track them.

If you are looking for performance details watch videos. I watched many on intel vs amd and then gtx 1050 ti vs 1060. It's a huge jump and worth the money if you can find a sale.

I can help you format a build if you are interested. This one would've been cheaper if I bought parts earlier.

Depends on the game.

Setting up Fortnite at epic I got solid 90fps. Decreased some of the settings and I run 160 with no hassle.

League of Legends runs at 250fps. Not sure what settings I have it on.

I would say probably, just keep in mind over 60fps you don't see much of a change. Eyes can't detect it much.

There is definitely videos on Youtube that benchmark those two. Think I watched one.

Thankyou! I'm an Intel guy, glad I don't gotta worry about RAM ig then XD.

Personal aesthetics? Ima go for red, stick with motherboard. Phanteks case is RGB light strips so, will work well. Thanks for the input!

I actually just got into Tech Deals today! He seems like a pretty positive and informative guy. Definitely will be using his advice to help with purchases; I do not plan on buying the 860EVO unless it is for sale, or I see another high market brand for a good price. Samsung is top notch market my father says, so I will probably not budge much around that. PNY and SanDisk are two good competitors though I might consider.

Thankyou for your advice! I didn't know processors come with Stock Coolers, great to know.

1050Ti I am definitively going with. I agree on that. 2GB is very limited.

Sadly, I have already got my ram. I used Frys.com (They do daily promo codes on PC parts) to get the current 8 GB 2x4 2400MHz. This was a big mistake; this week they have a weekly deal for the 2666 that is cheaper. It's a bummer, but I'll live with it. I probably will eventually upgrade to 16GB anyways.

Thankyou for replying!
