So there are a number of reasons, I have the M.2 for my operating system as it's got faster read and write speeds but higher capacities are expensive.
I have an Sata SSD for regularly used programs that need more storage but I'd still like to be fast loading.
Finally the HDD is for my bulk storage, for items that don't need to be accessed as fast. Larger capacities of HDDs are cheaper than other types generally.
Essentially it allows me to have all the perks whilst keeping the costs down. If you wanted just one storage device I'd recommend getting a large SSD if possible (usually the Sata kind), just keep an eye on the read and write speeds which ultimately decide how fast your system boots and loads programs etc
Aha, was the first thing I found on my work computer when I signed up. Each to their own!
I hadn't noticed, I'll update it now. Thanks for letting me know!
I feel the same. Feels a little slapdash to me?
For the most part I really like this build, I just wish you'd hidden the cables some more.
The cables around the CPU cooler going down to the right of the GPU as well as the power cables to the GPU could be a little on the neater side in my opinion.
That said, that's my only complaint, really nice build otherwise.
I wanted to stick with Intel and Nvidia, no real logical reason. The price didn't really bother me too much, I didn't make any sacrifices that I can think of based on price.
If that's the case then there must be something wrong with mine, it's been at least a week.
Mine has been sitting in moderation for some time too, not certain exactly why but I'd be keen to find out!
What did you do with that fan towards the bottom of the case?
I really like the fact that the lighting in minimal, drawing your eyes to the Super's logo. Nice work!
Where are the pictures with the Super in it? I'd love to see more photos!
I have a build going ahead this weekend with relatively similar components so yours is a good benchmark for what I hope to achieve with mine.
I really like the look of this build. I'm planning on building in the H500 (not i) and hope mine looks comparably nice!
Thanks for your lists. Monitor wise in have two BenQ XL2430T's. I was leaning towards the 2060 super having watched some benchmarks
