Thank you so much for this. I was considering using the RTX 2080 because the Gtx 1080 TIs are never in stock. I have not purchased anything and are currently still saving but had no clue i could do so much at my current budget. Thanks for the advice.

I'm still a console peasant, but why would any PC gamer want to spend an enormous amount of money on the RTX 2080 when they can turn the resolution down to 1440p and still get over 60fps? Most games will still do 4k 60fps just fine with a 1080TI anyway, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider only needs the extra power because its new and graphically demanding. But unless you are building a PC for max settings on post 2018 games, a 1080TI will do just fine.
